Equally from the Blyth site. Anyone going as a neutral onlooker will probably be better off with a home ticket as you'll be able to get a half time pint.

The club confirms the following re ticket allocation for our 1st Round FA Cup tie against Gateshead FC at Croft Park on Saturday 12th November. Times, dates and purchase venues are as per previous communication on this site.

1/ Ground Tickets, max 5 per person. (£12 full - £6 concession)

2/ Port of Blyth Stand, 1 per person. (£2 all classes)

Note: Students are classed as concessions, but must produce a valid ticket and suitable ID on match day.

THE MATCH WILL BE ALL TICKET and supporters will be SEGREGATED

Tickets will be on sale INSIDE the ground at the home game against Colwyn Bay on Saturday 5th November from 1.45 - 2.45 and from 5.00 - 5.30

Any remaining tickets will be on sale at the Social Club on Sunday 6th November from 7.00pm - 8.00pm

and Wednesday 9th November 7.00pm - 9.00pm (social club)

Subject to the quantity remaining there may be some on sale in the Social Club on Saturday 12th November from 11.30am - 1pm

Big gulf between the sides these days with Gateshead furnished with a full-time squad and Blyth struggling this year with a rookie management team. Still, Blyth were pretty poor in the league when Shrewsbury and Bournemouth were dispatched a few years ago so who knows what may happen.

Sned- I think the Police would be less worried about Blyth or Gateshead fans and more worried about opportunistic troublemakers who often just rock up on the day- hence the game being all-ticket. Sensible move all round, even though it may well have shaved a few off the gate.

Anyone going tomorrow?

I'm in with the Blyth fans although really a neutral. Suppose willnend up cheering on Blyth because of fans around me and fact they're underdogs. I'll be supporting whoever wins, in the next round though!

You'll be in good company, there are usually at least 500-600 local hoppers for games like this one.

Judging by the "You're support is fucking shit" chants coming from a small section of the Heed fans, quite a few of the mong brigade who now go to our away matches are here today.

Absolute howler by Blyth centre back trying to dribble out of defence. Easily robbed by Shaw who went round keeper and put it in the empty net.

Any trouble between the fans?

The helicopter was oot before. No idea if it was for that,

The helicopter was to guide in the Gateshead buses.

Not sure why people thought there would be trouble, there's actually very little history between the sides, but Gateshead seem particularly averse to all things green and white.

Hoping the Heed now get a home draw as could then take in our match against Chelsea at 12:45 before heading over to watch them (if was to stay as a Saturday 3pm kick off).

Quite a large police presence on the road outside but no trouble.

And Blyth aren't averse to anything Gateshead, to the extent where they started the rivalry in the first place back in the early 90s when they turned up to cheer on Telford against Gateshead in the FA Trophy?

...Anyway, I'm glad to be through to the 2nd round and looking forward to the draw.
