It might be worth giving Ranger a go with either Harewood or Lovenkrands. At least the lad can bring other players into the game, whereas Carroll doesn't really link well with his partners imo. I'd like to see Ranger and Loven given a go up front, as i said before the scunthorpe match. Harewood will get goals if used correctly but he is clumsy and so is Carroll, pair the both of them up front together and we struggle to keep the ball. From what ive seen both are fairly slow, too. Ranger and Lovenkrands are both a bit more 'refined' and quicker, even though collectively they pose slightly less of a goal threat. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
