Disco Posted August 17, 2010 Share Posted August 17, 2010 Had some good central defenders Villa over recent times - McGrath, Southgate, Ehiogu, Laursen, Mellberg Must have had a load of really shit midfielders tho if a player as incredibly average as James Milner is getting picked in their greatest ever Premier League team. I'd maybe have Andy Townsend ahead of him. Aye but Townsend is monstrous bellend. Lee Hendrie, also a sufferer of that affliction, is probably an option too. Fabregas has carried Arsenal last couple of seasons I don't remember Petit or Gilbo doing the same, both were just very important cogs in very good teams.
