Village Idiot
Was having a conversation with a mate today about the most successful individuals as both player and manager, and we ended up trying to come up with the individual that has won more times the European Cup as both player and manager, having at least won it once as either. Ended up with: Rijkaard 4: 3 as player (Milan*2, Ajax) and 1 as manager (Barça) Cruyff 4: 3 as player (Ajax) and 1 as manager (Barça) Ancelotti 4: 2 as player (Milan), 2 as manager (Milan) As the top ones we could come up with. Is there somebody else we're forgetting?

Guest firetotheworks
I know, I just thought he'd have been on there when you've mention Cruyff as well. I'll have a think.

Village Idiot
Pep only has 3: 1 as player, 2 as manager. For this trivia purposes There aren't that many player/manager EC double winners though, those first 3 and Pep are actually the only ones me and my friend could come up with. Guest firetotheworks
I gave up and cheated. There's literally only two others that have won it as player and manager. One I thought of as a guess but wouldn't have known for certain and the other I had no idea on.

Who's the other one though? Miguel Muñoz  Oh FFS how could I forget HIM. It's probably because I blank out that period of football in my mind. He must easily be a five-timer at least, too. Guest
Checked him, he never won the CL as manager, but 3 Champions Leagues as a player, a World Cup as a player and manager, a European Championships as a player, and UEFA Cup as a manager (when it meant something), has to put him top? Guest firetotheworks
This is a canny good one. It was Tyler's teaser the other week, so if you've already done it, don't spoil it for everyone. It's slightly long-winded, so bear with me. Which 7 players have played for one of Man United or Chelsea and 2 of the 7 ever-present premier league teams? So just to give you the scenarios, they can have played for: Man United + 2 other ever present teams Chelsea + 2 other ever present teams Man United + Chelsea + 1 other ever present team. I managed to get them all, but it took me almost a day to get all of them.
