That's an awful way of looking at things in my opinion like. I don't think he looked more likely "to get injured, or concede possession cheaply, than create or score a goal" either, but I suppose we'll never know. I was there, he was fine and the only player on the pitch that could have made something happen. Well, other than Gouffran who was soon subbed. We needed to win today and we sacked it off. Even if you were right, which I don't think you are at all, the other player was Shola Ameobi who is always, always going to provide the same, or less.
