Foluwashola
Dissecting the amount of acceptable minutes of football played is a pet hate of mine. If you win a match, it was a good 90 minutes. Sadly we haven't won many matches
ScottishMagpie
Was that the first away match that big mike has been at in a long time no? Wonder if he was just reminding Pardew that they're watching him (or maybe he just had a free night off). Convinced myself that another performance like last night on Saturday in Cardiff then Mike's gonna pull the trigger. He doesn't want to win anything but will want to stay in the premiership, keeping Pards in post will seriously put that in jeopardy. Plus gives us the international break to get a replacement kinda settled in a bit before the 'pool match.
Happy Face
West Ham Morecambe Fulham Villa Hull Leeds Everton Cardiff 8 games for Pardew to be judged on. Could be gone by Halloween if it goes badly, and would have NO excuses about the quality of opposition. W4 D1 L2

W4 D1 L2 problem for him is that 2 of them have been in league cup so the main thing he's judged on (league performance) still looks woeful...frankly i wouldn't have included those games in the same way i'd probably omit man city from the coming bloodbath
Shays Given Tim Flowers
Problem is the league doesn't work by selectively choosing the games to Judge Pardew on. Currently we're sixteenth in the table, coincidentally where we finished last season.

Sadly we haven't won many matches 180mins instead of 210 then. You can play well and draw IMO though, just as you can win and not play well for the majority - see the Fulham game. merlin
Can Pardew survive the coming 6 games? Cardiff A Liverpool H Mackems A Man City H Chelsea H Spurs A *gulp* At least one's a cup game. If we lose the first 2 he's almost certainly a goner...lose the derby too and I will be shocked if he is still at SJP after that.

Last season was after finishing 5th the season before, so it was "excusable". This season comes after a shit season, so the "accident" excuse's gone.
