Honestly, of everything that’s been going on in the run-up to this Wprld Cup, I’ve probably got the least problems with this idea. At least they’re not having the players come out to individual introductions à la the World Club Championship.

Apparently the photoshoot being attacked for being 'chauvinistic', 'exclusionary', 'toxic' and 'boyish'. This is on top of complaints about their kit being 'hyper-masculine and right-wing extremist', due to the the shirts having rune-like writing on the back, described as 'unfortunate and typical of neo-Nazi and fascist symbolic language'.
