  1. Yeah aesthetically it's the worst home kit in our history for me like. Fond memories of it in the 92/3 season because of how we did, but if Adidas rolled that out now as a brand new idea there'd be uproar.
  2. His Wiki if he joins Chelsea in 3 years time. Chelsea : 2026 - 0 apps Vitesse (loan) : 2026/7 - 18 apps, 6 goals Strasbourg (loan) : 2027/8 - 7 apps, 0 goals Millwall (loan) : 2028/9 - 13 apps, 1 goal.
  3. That's us accepting we're in that 7-10th bracket. We overspent to try and buy the guaranteed numbers needed to stay in the Champions League.
  4. We would have been thinking we're buying sure things. Both to get around 15-20 g/as like they did the year before. We'd have pissed 4th if they've managed even half of that. That would have been worth a £100m spend or whatever it was.
  5. Not a criticism of the club at all by the way. If this is what we have to do, then that's fine. It's purely on these shite fucking regulations to protect the cartel clubs forcing us into this.
  6. If we're in a position to spend that much on a project player then superb. I can just see why we paid £100m on Elanga & Wissa, in the hope they'd replicate their previous season's numbers for us and keep us treading water in the top 5 or 6. This just feels like we're accepting the 7-9th place model.
  7. It feels like that Rick & Morty episode with his mini universe thing. Rick is the cartel, we have the means to be bigger and outgrown them but no, back to our little box we crawl because they'll not allow anything different.
  8. 2-3 years time if he's smashed it, Man Utd, etc will just come along, pay £60m because they can, double his wages because they can, and that's that. It's fucking shite.
  9. I know we need to make this sort of signing, but it's the first big bit of proof that we're closer to the Brightons & Brentfords than the Cartel (yes, cartel, Froggy). Sad, man..
  10. Just more driftwood from the academy leaving without making an impact.
  11. One of the worst clauses in football contract history was Deportivo giving this fella a measly £3m relegation release clause. Think they've only just recovered from it.
  12. Capology is pointless for football man. They had Fraser Forster as Bournemouth's training keeper on £40k a week last season.
  13. Rare example of a signing who didn't work out in the end but got a soft spot for.
