Got players in who gave a shit and 'got it', revitalised the support and helped make it clear that Ashley was our barrier to success (if anyone couldn't already figure that out). It says something that the likes of Murphy, Lascelles and Ritchie still play a key part in our squad. Howe has taken us to the next level and whilst that is largely down to his dedication and desire to be the best he can be, it is somewhat down to the character of those already present at the club and having backing from the board.
