There needs to be some context here. Injuries, champions league before we’re ready etc. has been a strain on the squad. That said, there are concerns IMO. We’ve been rolled over far too many times, not just by top teams either. Eddie has to answer for those but his job should be guaranteed for next season at least. Even if we do finish 9th. Most of the problems this season are down to three or four factors in my opinion. - only two stikers in the squad, both with iffy fitness records. - our big summer signing getting banned for betting. - freak injuries to key players leaving him with a fatigued squad and limited choices. - not changing things that aren't working. - some of the squad simply aren't good enough.
