Ballot very rarely successful, the general sale que and resale pretty good especially if ur not bothered about having a single. Let’s hope they don’t go back to ballot only would be terrible.
on away tickets would love for them to do a member ballot even if only for 50 tickets as currently it’s impossible to get any points have any games gone down to zero points in the past year?

Yeah think I’m going to just apply for most games next season and if I’m successful just call in some favours and get days off swapped etc

annoyingly the most games I could get to in a season was in the championship but as I say the nature of success.

If it’s any crumb of comfort we might have a few more Sunday games with being in Europe. Not loads though with it being UCL.

It’s tricky being on my phone in a queue at work but it’s something I’ll be looking in to doing next season

If you know someone who knows how to play the general sale game successfully, then they could link accounts with you and buy a ticket on your behalf

It’s the easiest way to get a ticket if you can’t be in front of a computer on a Monday at 10am

Didn't even realise there was auto renewal.

There’s a definitely an auto renewal. If you’ve got it set as such in your settings. Was well publicised.

Yeh, they've never been any point of auto renewal as there's no benefit really

Easy enough to just buy again once they are on general sale

There has. Trust me.

For those who haven’t you can buy a new one 17th June.

Personally I’d contact club to see if you can renew current one. Might come in handy with regards to any ST waiting lists…

Such as?

I alluded to it in my last sentence. If I was a member planning on continuing to be a member I’d want to reflect that continuation and have a historical ticket record.

I don’t think that’s how it works

Supporter number and ticket history will still exist even if you don’t auto-renew membership

They don’t delete everything just because you opt out of making an automatic payment for something that is available to all

And the auto-renew date isn’t a membership purchase deadline, memberships will probably be on sale all season again

Well, IF something has changed then that is new and for this season onwards, but previously there's never been any benefit

Don't see what difference it would make to just buy them in general sale, you still have the same supporter number and previous purchase history 🤷

In my defence I originally read the question as  a denial there’s been no communication of auto renewal at any point

If you are right then fair enough. I guess it’s easy to find out from previous years if your details remain. I’m a ST holder so never need to check my account for anything really.

Maybe your supporter number remains the same and along with it your history?

Yeah. Apologies. I misread your question TBH.

Would doing it your way show a break in support service? Going off the email wording it suggests so still…

No, it just shows membership for that season regardless of when you buy it.

Although they do seem to lose membership history details on the website every now and again 🤣

But it's all saved in your purchase history, along with tickets and tours etc

Yep, supporter number and history would still exist you'd just no longer have a membership and the only legit way to get a ticket for a match would be if someone with an ST transfers their ticket to you

You need a supporter number to have a membership, but you don't need a membership to have a supporter number

I wouldn’t put any value on that email wording, it’s an automated email that someone has produced for cancellations and they’ve sent it automatically because it’s the only thing they have.
