They have two more. One key player, and one backup. Big difference that.

Odebert that’s played 3 games? Richarlison who’s played 5 and arguably wouldn’t get in the starting line up and bentancur who they have adequate replacements for? I wouldn’t say it’s much of ‘big difference’

if they had one key defender back id say it would virtually be no difference

They have a similar amount of injuries to us in the same areas. We have better and more adequate back up but that’s a different argument

Thats how I see it.  Saying we have a better backup keeper is totally irrelevant.

For me, having Kelly and Burn in the middle is just as worrying for us as their defensive situation is for them

Not talking about Odebert. Udogie and Davies are Burn and Hall.

We have our first choice full backs in fairness and have better backs. I’d say that’s the key difference rather than amount injured

Davies has played 4 games this season behave comparing them to Hall and Burn in importance. Davies is a back up player like Krafth is

Aye, having two seasoned CBs available is just the same as Spurs having to play an injured CB and an 18 year old midfielder at CB in his debut PL season

That’s not the argument I’m making. We have similar injuries we just have better options thats spurs problem not ours.

Van de Ven and Romero are their stars. Davies and Dragusin backup. Burn/Kelly backup. Davies is their.

Judging by what we saw against West Ham, Kelly at CB is highly concerning

Botman and schar are ours. Lascelles and burn are back up. We brought in Kelly coz Lascelles got injured.

Newcastle were 12th at start of December, but are now fifth and last December lost six out of six but regrouped and finished seventh, are they a good example to your squad if you get players back, you can get going again?

"I think if you look at that time last year, I actually spoke about it at the press conference. They had a ridiculous amount of injuries and I actually specifically mentioned Newcastle and how they have a ridiculous amount of injuries and it’s no wonder their form is suffering, but that’s a boring tale, mate. It doesn’t mean and like I said, people will be outside with pitch forks and looking for heads, so let’s not take that narrative"

But is that a good example?

"I think so but it’s a boring stuff, mate and I’m a boring person, so I don’t think you’ll get much traction with that"

"That was a response that was as easy to predict as tomorrow's loss."

Whats the 4 times got to do with it ? Still their backup just like Burn

If you want to argue that we are better equipped to deal with the defensive injuries and have better options I’ll absolutely agree with you but that’s not what you are arguing and I’m bored now

So you forgot about Lascelles and you were essentially talking bollocks. I will indeed fuck off with the smugness of being right

That's not the vibe I got from Howe's press conference at all...

Can see him being on the bench but I’ll be absolutely amazed if he sees a single minute
