If this season has shown anything it's that we can turn up when it matters. I had no idea how much that cup run and win just showed how much our mentality has changed.

If the crowd want nights like PSG again then earn it and help the lads over the line. They can make such a difference and it lifts the players.

It is, but it's partly because of where they're receiving the ball.

They were bang average

 

 

They defended really well mind, we kept getting into great positions and put in a lot of crosses, but their defenders were first to every ball and blocked just about everything. I can barely recall their keeper making a save. Wilson's effort near the end maybe.

Still it’s by design.  Often they could turn back and recycle. But they’ll play a ball with such low success rate anyway. The level of direct we are is intentional.
