Dr. Nguyen Van Falk
Alonso is worth FAR more than £5M. THE FIGURES IN BRACKETS ARE APPROXIMATE PROFITS MADE ON THE ORIGINAL FEE. Still tihnk they could get over £15.5M for him.

Still tihnk they could get over £15.5M for him. I don't think they would make much more than £15m for him
Minhosa
Alonso is worth FAR more than £5M. I think he's talking profit on top of the fee paid. If so Liverpool will never make a profit on Bellamy imo. Thanks Toon's Taylor. Glad someone got the point of the post. I disagree on Bellamy - I think they'll make a comfortable profit on him personally.

Bellamy has been terrible so i agree they wouldnt make anything on him. Kuyt has done anything to justify a £3m profit.

You don't think Bellamy has proved he can make the step up from UEFA (Blackburn) to a Champs League quality EPL side? You're talking bollocks mate. Parky
Hopefully this will be the end of 'the Spanish influence' at Liverpool. I have maintained from day one that Rafa was clueless. tongue.gif
biggs
This result has made my day ,apart from the mackems i cannot stand liverpool fc and scousers in general. It will be great for them to get back down earth and out of two cup competitions in 4 days . not that the toon have got much to shout about at the minute but the doom and gloom on miseryside will be great to all outsiders.Nice for a crisis somewhere else (before anyone says they are still in the champions and top four in the premiership i know that but out of the two domestics in the start of january).
