Where I am, Cambridge, the average minimum temperature from 1971 to 2000 has been 6.1 degrees celsius.

 

For Durham over the same amount of time, it's been 5.2 degrees celsius.

 

Woo, eh?  0.9 degrees difference.  Start building the bloody igloos...  :-\

They don't monitor temperatures in Newcastle, was the closest place I could find!
