The towering Serbian has impressed in La Liga this season and is a target for several clubs at the end of the campaign. Premiership duo Bolton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested, while Juventus remain keen on Zigic. Reports in Spain now suggest Racing have set a value of €12million (£8.2million) for the forward before they will consider a summer sale. No offers have yet been received, but a club spokesman has confirmed Racing would be prepared to listen to offers at the right price. "Formally, we have not received any propositions, but we know the player is wanted by several clubs," said the spokesman. "If any interesting offer comes in, we will study the subject what do you guys think of that perfect type of player for Martins or Owen huge target man who can score goals in la liga 22 appearences 7 goals champions league qualifying round 4 games 2 goals and Euro 2008 qualifiers 4 games 3 goals so not too bad. i'm interested to know his assists
tmonkey
Please God no. Ugly, long ball team is what we're 100% guaranteed to become with someone like Zigic in our side, because thats the easy thing for a poor manager and technically poor defenders/midfielders to revert to - when in doubt, pump it long. Newcastle Fan
FM Legened tbh.. Saw him in real life, the new Peter Crouch, the bloke is 202 c tall and still dosn't win that many headers! Rather have a stronger target man such as Jan Koller..

NUFC06
I prefer Peter Crouch unlike Zigic he is good with a ball in his feet

oldtype
From what I've seen of him he's got some decent technique and is much, much stronger than Crouch is. More of a Koller than a Crouch really. 8 million isn't a bad price for him, although I don't think we should be spending 8 mil for ANY striker this summer. Long ball isn't necessarily a bad thing. Heck, if we had this bloke, I think it'd work quite well.
