As I said earlier I will remain pessimistic until I see otherwise. We still know nothing about Ashley or what his actual intentions for the club are, all we've got to go on is this 'source' who is constantly quoted in the media. We know there are more funds available as confirmed by Mort, but I think the talk of 'big signings' is more than likely just pure speculation.

I wouldn't exactly say I was 'pessimistic', but I agree with this. I'm cautious, and don't want to get too far in front of myself just yet.

I imagine "success" is somewhere on his agenda.

 

The question for me is less the nature of his intentions, than his ability to deliver. I'm gently optimistic, but it's going to be difficult to rise above the pack. We're not the only club with new money backing new management, and the top four aren't looking any weaker.

we have no european footy to offer so i guess we will probably have to wait for a mega signing next season .
