That's really not true like. He was effective for the system they played but he never made things click. MGW and Wood made things happen, Milenković and Murillo were their best players. I've always been clear on here how much I don't rate Elanga, but let's not rewrite history. Howe wanted him, so we all hoped he saw something in him he can improve. £55m was absolutely mental money for him, which I think if you read back everyone agreed.
