I mean there's examples both ways - Gordon isn't exactly pulling up trees at the moment either. Ramsey is a "time will tell". Barnes was perhaps 2-3 years too late. On the flip side, Thiaw looks like the signing of the season. I don't think we should have a rule on where we buy players from, it's more about finding the right player, surely?

Elanga was that player. Worked well so far.
