I mean, surely the idea would be to build the brand, increase the incomings through sponsorships, increase the talent in the squad through an established academy etc. oh well

Yeah I agree, I think the Kane/Mount experiment isn't working. Not sure who they replace Mount with as I don't think Foden really suits that role either. I'm still amazed to see how good Shaw is at the moment. Very key player for us.

Midfield are shite. Why on earth is Kane having to play deep just so mount can go forward? Makes zero sense. Sterling has nobody to give the ball to other than backwards to Walker.

What does Mount do? Or Kane in this role come to that
