My assumption was that Ashley's case is about financial compensation for him, nothing to do with trying to force through the takeover. I think Ashley wants rid of the club, but I don't think it's going to happen this time. He'll get some money somehow, some new takeover rumours will appear in summer, take us through to this time next year, fall through, rinse and repeat. We'll plummet down the leagues and be sold to a Sunderland type owner and never be back. Happy new year.

The 18/19 season: last 9 games, 3 wins, 1 draw, 5 losses = 10 points 19/20 season: last 9 games (after lockdown), 7 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss = 22 points Again, I still think Leeds would've been promoted, but it's a dash naive to think the lockdown didn't help a high energy, high pressing football team. Think it was pointed out that distance covered actually improved for Leeds in those last 9 games in 18/19.

It's not exactly the first time a pundit has been called out this season, not even the first time Leeds have done it. Fair play to them.

This is true but we had a great manager in Benitez and we allowed him to walk away, in no properly run football club would it be acceptable to replace a manger of his pedigree with Bruce. I’m also at the hatred levels with Bruce, however I don’t believe in any way replacing him with another manager moves the club any further forward long term. The only way forward is regime change and until that happens everything else is pointless, and a waste of all our time. The club is currently dead in its current guise and the only flicker of life we have is this takeover. I can't stand the sight of Bruce anywhere near our club. We're going down this season under him.
