This £150m figure, where is that quoted? People keep asking but nobody seems to reply. I do agree that Wissa will be overpriced based on circumstance, but if he gets us in the CL again will it be worth it? JSL price is based on a pre-agreed fee before they got him on loan wasn’t it? I’d imagine it would be a lot higher otherwise.

My thoughts over this subject are based on the position we’re now in with Isak. If we’re in that position because Isak feels he can’t get paid enough, or win enough with us, that’s down to PSR. However, I honestly think replacing him with two of the other better strikers in the PL is actually a really good solution. people are suggesting we shouldn’t buy striker A or striker B because they’re not as good as Isak need to recognise the position we’re in, because of both Isak and PSR.

We should get the next world’s greatest striker from somewhere nobody has heard of for £400k instead.
