  1. Muto's gonna go isn't he? Him and Gayle could fetch a cool £4m between them.
  2. He’s our best player. Said it on Monday. Almiron assist too.
  3. Is it a tactic that when any of the front three get the ball, one of the wing backs and central midfielders drop deep? No wonder their stats are so shit, there’s zero support from the midfield.
  4. Sigh ? Clearly incapable of interpreting what I said. If you want to give him stick for that performance tonight, tactics, inability to defend set pieces, general lethargy, then go ahead I’m not going to argue. I haven’t even commented on his managerial ability. I might think he’s shite. But calling him a “fat cunt” or “cabbage head” because he’s appointed some people called Steve, or something else completely irrelevant is childish and pathetic. And I continue to stand by that belief. Is he a shit manager? He’s clearly a downgrade on the manager he replaced. But not quite ‘shit’ yet? Says we didn’t work hard enough with or without the ball. Defenders should have done better. Difficult evening, ok in the second half. Better in the 2nd half in fact. Wow. Basically gave the standard response from majority of managers after a piss poor performance from their team then? I go back to my original point though - criticise him for sensible, deserved stuff (and you can fill your boots tonight) , just don’t bother with the idiotic stuff as it detracts from the genuine criticism. *that’s not directed specifically at you, more a general comment/plea/waste of my time. But nothing of what he said actually means anything. But my main gripe with him is his inability to actually manage the game. We get worse every single time he makes a change. Yeah, he’s been dealt these players (apart from one of the worst right backs I’ve ever seen) but he’s got years of experiencing managing and he’s appearing like an amateur Sunday league coach right now.
  5. Yes! Rolling our sleeves up next week. Brill.

  7. He would be in a different team. Not much fun seeing him run with the ball for 70 yards then putting it out for a throw in.
  8. I get what neville’s saying here. That wall either looks pointless or miles away, or both.

  10. I’d love to see Gayle and Carroll against Man City. Show the world what we’ve been missing.
  11. I think we do though. He’s just criminally misused and out of form. Almiron does everything at 100mph, just like the rest of the team. It's all incredibly frantic. Grealish knows when to change the tempo Yep, coached better and more experience in the country. I'm not sure it's coaching and experience. I think they've very different in their approach to the game. Even if both on form, I don't think they'd be all that comparable. Almiron relies on athleticism and desire to get and create changes, whereas Grealish is much more calculated, drawing players in and playing intricate passes. He's very good. As is Almiron, just not at present unfortunately. Yeah I wouldn’t compare them like for like, but I just don’t agree that we haven’t got the quality to hurt teams like villa hurt us tonight.
  12. Big fan of grealish btw. Seems a nicer bloke than he appears on the pitch. Edit; reckon he’s in with a decent shout of getting in the England squad soon. I’d prefer Foden though.
