Is he? I don't think so. He's struggling both defending and attacking. Not his best game by a long way. Is there a team in the world playing two wingers with worse end product than Jonas and Obertan by the way? I don't think so. -

I cannot agree with that at all like. You think we're playing with enough pace? I think we've played well and have controlled the game, we're hardly playing a bunch of nobodies either, they're a decent side. But there's zero pace off the ball. Our players get the ball, pass it short, then walk into another spot. Very easy to play against. -

That Papa Gaye would be a decent signing. -

We're slow effing slow. They all want to be the player sitting in playing the perfect pass. How about pass and run? Rather than pass and drop? Sissoko's the only one who has any movement off the ball. -
He'd certainly get the dressing room sorted out! My only question would be how he would handle the "bigger name" players - would he just send them out to do their thing, or would he try to man manage them. He does set teams up to play exciting football, and he's clearly learnt a lot over the last few years. I still have a bet on with a couple of people that Adkins will manage England one day. Whats wrong with thre dressing room? Well clearly nothing now, but a couple of weeks ago everyone here claimed that Pardew had lost it ;-) What a strange point to make. Is it? Adkins major strength is he knows how to unite a team. People have been claiming for months now that Pardew doesn't have the dressing room anymore. The comparison is between Pardew and Adkins, so I feel it was a perfectly valid point to make. So are we so fickle on here that now we've beaten Villa and Chelsea that the dressing room is now united? Or is it that Pardew hadn't actually lost the dressing room in the first place, it was simply his shit tactics causing the problem? Both tactically and as a man-manager, I'd take Adkins over Pardew anyday.

Official: Yoan Gouffran signs new contract with Goztepe

It looks like it as his shin pad would have covered that area. I shattered my shin when someone stamped on me in a match. Shin-pad hardly had a mark on it. To this day I've no idea how it happened. -

Was that through his shin pad? -
I thought he actually had quite a good game considering. We just need to get players much closer to him.

I asked earlier in the thread, but has there ever been an example of a player being sent off for attempting an acrobatic clearance? -

As if a player has ever got a red card for attempting an acrobatic clearance and accidently kicking the attacker in the head. Wouldn't have surprised me to see a penalty given, but never a red. -
Bet the Undertaker appears.

Why isn't berba playing by the way?
