There is a debate because IMO, RVP has been the best player in the league this season. But if thats how you feel fair enough RVP for the best team in the league vs Suarez single handedly carrying Liverpool? Take Suarez out of Liverpool and they'd be below us. Take out RVP's goals and assists and Man Utd would be in midtable. But Man United would stick someone else in there, with their squad depth. Who would Liverpool play?

Meh, about on a par I would say. You have to consider Michu is doing it in an otherwise midtable at best team.. Cisse did it in a relegation team punching far above their weight tbh.
