  1. Really can't see the players enjoying playing at Glanford Park. There's no width at all though, so that's perfect for Hughton's long ball game. Just a shame for Newcastle that Rob Jones has started winning absolutely everything in the air. Scunthorpe's weakest position is right back, so Jonas needs to play. Jonas vs Cliff Byrne is no contest tbh. The main thing in Newcastle's favour is that they're not going to take anyone lightly anymore, following the last 3 games. I think if they go into the game thinking they'll walk right through Scunny they're in for a massive shock. O'Connor, McCann, Togwell and Wright are a much better midfield than Guthrie, Smith, Nolan and Lovenkrands. Newcastle will tear Scunny apart at home, but it's anyone's game on Tuesday.
  2. Said earlier on. I've watched both teams today, and Newcastle have no chance on Tuesday. Scunthorpe's midfield > Newcastle's midfield We have no chance against Scunthorpe? Righto go back to the rubber room now mate. You watched both teams today then did you? Don't be so fucking daft. So what are you basing your argument on? Sorry, I'll reword, just for those people who don't understand the obvious.. Having seen both teams play today, unless things drastically change, Scunthorpe will win. Better?
  3. Said earlier on. I've watched both teams today, and Newcastle have no chance on Tuesday. Scunthorpe's midfield > Newcastle's midfield If we're going on todays games then, Sunderland will be in the top 4 and Villa will win the league? We have no chance against Scunthorpe? Righto go back to the rubber room now mate. You watched both teams today then did you? No, but I'm actually basing on how both teams are playing CURRENTLY, not for the entire season. That's pretty obvious though, so I guess you're just being a tit?

  6. I've never really understood making subs this late if you're chasing the game. Doesn't give the player long enough to get into the game.
  7. It's safe to say that this strike partnership just doesn't work.
  8. We're just too slow to do everything. Everyone wants an extra touch.
  9. I hate everything about Forest. Bunch of wankers, fans and players alike.
  10. Can anyone confirm that Smith got booked for kicking the ball away? If that's the case, why didn't their guy just get booked too?
  11. If they used the same offside rule every season it would make things easier!
  12. Love it when people say stuff like this but can't back it up. Even when we were winning at the start of the season people were saying that the squad was shit. That's why most people say it's amazing we're top of the league! Still, carry on with the knee-jerk shite.
  13. Our midfield is truly appauling. I should put that in my sig seeing as it's been truly appauling for about 6 seasons now. Creates nothing for the forwards and offers the defence no protection.
  14. Having seen both teams today, get your money on Scunthorpe for Tuesday.
  15. I assume we'll push Ryan Taylor forward when we work out that we can supply nothing using the current midfield...
  16. It's probably already been answered, but the admin team there pay for it themselves. It's probably down to the likes of Peasepud and Craig being stupidly rich though Plus they're probably paying quite a lot less, at a guess. Not a lot less than you'd probably think tbh

  18. I apologise in advance if I am wrong but was the £300k not the loyalty bonus he wanted from Citeh? If may be classed as that, but City correctly in my eyes refused to pay it because as they said he chose to leave because a club had bid £5.5 million which triggered the release clause in his contract they did not at the time want to sell him. In the end it didn't effect City, Barton got the cash & NUFC ended up paying £5.8 million for player with release clause of £5.5million. Ah right. I don't think any football, even the best in the world justifies anything like the wages they get. I think most of the best players do tbf, it is the average s*** like Barton that is overpaid. How is anyone worth £100k a week? Its just obscene. It really isn't THAT much money in the scheme of things. You are trying to be funny right? Not really. Does anyone in the Premier League even make 10 million pounds per year? There are alot of people making alot more than that in this world, and most of them aren't busting their arse on a football pitch weekly and will be paid these salaries for more than 15 years. Aye it must be terrible to be "busting your arse" on a football pitch for up to £100k a week when there are soldiers, policemen, nurses and coastguards who do real life changing work for a fragment of that pay a year. But if there was only 100 really talented nurses in the world, and people paid to see them, they'd get paid shed loads too.
