  1. Money over first team football? Hardly. maybe he had confidence in his ability to get a first team spot. He was never going to get in a Chelsea team in front of Ballack, Makelele, Essien, Lampard, Mikel. That's not confidence, it's delusion.

  3. Sorry mate but you are bloody desperate and quite frankly out of your mind. What on Earth has this idiot done to deserve £150,000 a week from Newcastle United? ARE YOU FREAKIN' KIDDING ME!!! You are happy to make this guy who is obviously some sort of egotistical maniac and one of the most probable mercenaries if ever I saw one, one of the highest paid players in the premiership?! I'm sorry but this statement of yours is both infuriating and bewildering. This is real life and not a video game. You pay the top players in the world this sort of money. Players who are guaranteed to produce and who do so game in and game out wherever and whenever. You can in no way justify this s**** and I find this sort of neediness disgusting. Just go and support Chelsea why don't you. I'm sick and tired of your sort waiting for these senseless and grossly irresponsible signings and whinging about Ashley because he isn't doing an Abramovich. Just clear off. Thank God he has more sense than the lot of you combined. he already said he was talking about Barcelona, not Newastle bloody hell Oh ... apologies if so, but man a red mist just descended upon me after I read that and I was vexed. I'm just sick of all the moaning Chelsea wannabes. It's embarrassing. Support Chelsea and the problem is solved right? Bunch of f***ing losers on here I tell you. In my view we have a very sensible owner who genuinely seems to have what looks like a bloody impressive vision for the club. So far he has done nothing wrong and hasn't even had one season with his own manager and players at the club and all this complaining. Does my head in. At least wait till he fails, which I doubt will happen. I meant Barca though
  4. And Zenit are likely to accept our 12 million squids after turning down the same amount from Barcelona because...? Sorry, didn't make myself clear. I meant that Barca will up their bid slighty, because paying £8m a year isn't really a problem. Didn't mean to say we'd be buying him. Cheers for the smiley though
  5. Latest ITK knowledge from training is that the lads were getting on well.
  6. Tin hat on, but I wouldn't have a problem paying him £8m a year as long as the fee wasn't much higher than £12m. I think Barca will be back in sooner or later.

    Oba And Out

The release clause only comes into effect if Martins hands a transfer request in. I explained that earlier. Fucking clueless Which he obviously would if one believes the spin the Sun have put on that article. And lose his loyalty bonus? Depends if Arsenal were happy to give him the money they'd be saving on the transfer fee tbh.

  9. Shearer who played every week? Hardly the same tbh...
  10. Rather ironic as it's being said it's Newcastle who have bid £6.3m whilst Spartak want closer to £16m. As I know there's a couple here who are members, here's the link................. http://coys.sportsmaestros.com/index.php?showtopic=104087 Have you ever been right with your ITK-bollocks ever? I can't believe that you just don't give it up, tbh, surely no one believes what this joker says? I've been right often. I'm not saying Newcastle are in for Pavlyuchenko, someone else is. The suggestion is that the agent has told us to try to create a bidding war, don't know if it's true. You can take it or leave it. You have never said anything right ITK wise on here Christ what a Current. Quite a few bits and pieces a few years ago tbf. Fancy pointing any of them out then? Because he's never been able to himself, so you'd be helping us all out.

You just said that we have a £6.3m bid for him, but I suppose that doesn't mean we're in for him As for you being right, you must have a lower ratio than the f***ing News of the World. I am not saying that Newcastle are in for Pavlyuchenko, someone else is saying that Newcastle are in for him. Do you understand now? I am not saying anything, I am passing on something someone else is saying. Time will tell whether it's true or not. I'm passing on information that you're a lying twat who craves the attention on rival fans message boards. Don't shoot the messenger.
  12. Are people excited by the fact we've signed a player without the press hearing about it, or by the fact that it's this particular player?
  13. Again, it's nothing to do with the player himself - I know nowt about him and won't disguise that. I'm just glad we have proved we can do our thing without making a song and dance about it, as you say. Hopefully he'll be a good buy. So what's to admit being wrong about? Has anyone claimed that it's impossible to sign players on the quiet, and that we wouldn't? Admit that people who were complaining about the apparent inactivity of the club were wrong becasue this signing proves conclusively that things ARE happening behind the scenes and no one except those at the club have a clue whats going on, so any arguments slating the club for its aprent inactiviy in the past can be humbly retracted in this thread.... See my post above which gives the same answer. We'll see in time if people were wrong about showing their concerns regarding the transfer policy.
  14. HAHAHAHHA Good work by the club, saw a few mallorca games on the tellybox and he looks decent. Good work by wise et al. Also I think its pronounced Guti-er-ez kinda like its spelt... By all accounts he's going to be known as Jonas, I think that is whats on his shirt. Yeah, but in the Premiership they have to have their full surname. Remember when Hasslebaink first arrived and he had "Jimmy" on his shirt for the first game? Dragutinovic wears simply "Drago" on his shirt. I'd imagine over here he'll have "Gutierrez" on his top. Jordi? Nani? Juninho? None of those are full surnames... Jordi is the exception though. The others are nicknames aren't they? So you're allowed nicknames but not first names? What sort of rule is that?

Has anyone claimed that it's impossible to sign players on the quiet, and that we wouldn't? Plenty have claimed we were doing absolutely nothing in the transfer market. You must have missed them. Despite bids for Modric and Woodgate etc? I can't remember people claiming we're "doing" nothing, just that we were struggling to sign the top class players we need. The main culprit even admits we're signing young players, but that it's not the right approach. It's impossible to tell that signing a right winger that 99% of this country has never seen play is the right approach or not, so I still don't see the point of this thread tbh.

  18. You know full well this thread will get bumped if he turns out to be rubbish. What point are you trying to make? That the club have signed a player most of you haven't heard of, so people should change their minds on whether the board are doing a good job or not? You just looking for an argument with NE5? The point's not whether he's any good or not, nor is it anything to do with NE5. I just wanted to let off some steam (Bennett) at the mongs who've been whinging like little girls since the season ended that we weren't doing anything - purely because there wasn't much in the papers. We ARE doing things behind the scenes, we CAN sign players without the media picking up on it. Have some faith. Let off steam? Chill dude!

  20. Would rather keep Milner tbh, we need the depth more than the money imo and Milner's a good, versatile option for a squad player. You'd rather have Milner than £9m??
  21. Very good player, and hopefully means we can sell Milner for that £9m now. As others have said, it's actually nice to find out about a transfer when it's happened, rather than a month beforehand in the press.
  22. So Clough and Dunn were/are both shit? Jesus wept.
  23. Should probably cash in on him now anyway. Cash is the least of their thoughts tbh
