That's the thing though, Darlow whenever Forest were on was ropey as anything. Not to say he might grasp the chance. I mean Elliot has and surprised us all. I'm pretty sure no one thought Blob would be as good as he has, in fact he's kept us in games. Bournemouth away was three points Blob won us on his own basically. Blob has been pretty fucking shite, I am quite confident Darlow will not be any worse. Just because he is a decent shot stopper (all keepers are at this level are) and put in a few performances where he has made a string of good saves it doesn't make up for his total inability to command his box, unwillingness to come off his line, lack of pace and utter uselessness in one on one situations. He's fucking shit.

People advocating playing a young 19 year old 'keeper with less than 15 professional games under his belt, and all of them coming in League 2, over Darlow. Darlow is an established solid Championship 'keeper with over 100 Championship games under his belt. Darlow had a shocker against West Brom but I would have him in over Woodman ten times out ten.

It's more about knowing he's going to play from a mental side rather than being thrown into your first Premier League start at a few minutes notice, where he looked like a nervous wreck. He started the season ahead of Elliot, lets hope he can prove his quality.

Exactly. Darlow was thrown in at WBA having only played in a League Cup game vs Northampton and turning out for the stiffs. Hardly ideal. He certainly can't be as bad as Jack Alnwick. Aye but now he's going to be thrown into a absolutely must win relegation 6 pointer. Doesn't really matter much if he's going to be good given time, its all or nothing on Saturday, a nervy keeper is the last thing we needed. This really is horrendous news. Thrown in as in he had a few minutes to get ready having prepared for the game to be on the bench. We don't play Norwich until Saturday, he should be in a much better state of mind. The lad has over 100 appearances in the Championship and by all accounts wasn't too bad. I suspect he is better than Elliot, hopefully he can prove it and has the mentality to succeed at this level.

Don't be bloody stupid.

To folk who don't understand goalkeeping, sure. He been OK, at best. That's a more than fair appraisal. Correct.
-
Jakob Haugaard has been their no 2.
-
So Butland fractured his ankle.
-
Aye, 31 league goals that season leading into the tournament.
-
I thought he turned us down?
-
Excellent play the Vardy goal and generally looked decent going forward but he's looked shocking defensively.
-
Sounded like a Newcastle away end most of the match with don't take me home.
-
He got injured as he kicked the ball away. Not much he could do about it to be honest. He did it before that. That only made it worse. When do you believe he done it like? It happened on the attack before that when he came and caught the ball.
-
Amateurish from Butland. He had the ball and knew he was injured.
-
In this set up we're not really playing a "number 10", Alli all day at minute as he has a better all round game.
-
Come off it. That's just silly He's average, shame we don't have anyone better.
-
I really can't stand Clyne, a slightly better version of Danny Simpson.
-
I had us going down on goal difference.

This is like 10+ years ago when we used to invade Spurs boards.

That. Is. Beautiful. More of the same please. It's beautiful because I wrote it!

I thought that you had a car. I work in London during the week and car stays in Newcastle. I have nowhere to park the car near my flat in London.
