A 'Gremlin' (ironically some huge fucker) stood up for me in Marseille when I was being questioned for being a Southern Newastle fan.

Niko Kovac and Joseph Gordon-Levitt

I saw him last night and tried to tell everyone he looked like The Sheriff of Nottingham's cousin in Robin Hood. Too much of a niche reference for these philistines.

We don't need PEA we need a new manager and a new owner, anybody who thinks signing decent players is a good idea really doesn't get it.No chance we'd get him but PEA is pretty much exactly what we need
We need good players as if we,ever do get a good managers he's going to need some players to work with!

Do predators still exist? I take it that the concept was a massive pile of twaddle?
-
Foluwashola isn't it?
FoulShola the amount he gives away.
-
Well if he's free we'd be mental as fans to be against the transfer. We need a squad after all and extra bodies are extra bodies; getting them for nothing is a win-win.
So you'd be happy getting Gosling and Shola back? Alan Smith too and Kuqi to round off the reunion? They're bodies after all.
Cajun would be with Gosling. Loves him, doesn't believe he should be let go.

As a pardew United anti fan I find this wonderful news
As a want the next manager to stand half a chance man this makes me sad.

They'd have probably stuck together like Velcro the first floated ball into to the box.

People actually believing we're paying him £50k a week
I can well believe it tbh. 24 years old, English midfielder on a free.
Player/agents wet dream that.
He certainly won't be on squad player wages that's for sure.

Hes not as bad as some people make out on here like. Hardly a world beater but about our level now sadly.
He offers nothing we don't already have though.
Its like buying a spare, spare tyre. I
I what?
-Robot.

Its like buying a spare, spare tyre. It might come in useful eventually but when your clutch is fucked, your wing mirror is hanging off, the central locking is gone and you're already on a limited budget it's a pointless purchase.

Lescott to Hull on a free on SSN.
Good signing.
-
It's probably bollocks but the salient point is his legs are absolutely fucked.
No idea if it is true but I know my cousin had to take one of his dogs as it kept bumping into his legs.
-
he is a lot better than the player who shouldn't have been getting games anyway.

Still not sure why anyone thinks Gosling needed replacing.
I was gutted when Cabaye left, the one positive was Bigi, Marv or even that HBA chap might get some match time but no, that was wasted on an inferior player who was leaving in a few months anyway.
Now he's gone you think "great, maybe Abeid, HBA, Marv or Bigi might get some game time" but again we bring in an inferior player.
If anyone honestly thinks Colback is here to pick up £10k a week to sit on the bench I think they're in for a shock. I know it's paper talk and all that but West Ham apparently offered him £50k a week. Now given he is relatively young, English and on a free I can't see that being far from the truth. He might not have wanted to move away but I doubt he's taking that much a drop in wages to stay either.
He'll be a regular and penny pinching Mike will have accounted for every one this ginger, average, happy to insult his own tosser is taking out of the club.

I love how in English football you can be so obviously and completely washed up for years but if you were ever good for any amount of time your reputation will still keep those paychecks coming for as long as you want.
We got £6m for a blatantly clapped out Dyer

I went to the same high school as Jack. Really sound lad which is why it mystifies me to see the keyboard warriors come out and call him a cunt when he's anything but.
You know I love you Ste but does this not annoy you?

It is bad enough on the pitch but I can sort of understand it but off the pitch? He was hardly some vulnerable kid.

Nixon along with Felipio are another lot of those posters who will claim their nationality depending on how it suits them. Just wait until they are walking around in their Bosnia and Herzegovina shirts after the shock of this world cup and they have a great, great, great grandmother who once spoke to a Bosnian 170 years ago.

We have average centre mids not getting games before Gosling, Gosling shouldn't have been in the team, let alone needing to be replaced.
We could have put Gouffran up front or just used HBA, Marveaux or (this won't go down well) stuck Sammy outwide and Sissoko through the middle.
As said before, we don't need a Gosling replacement, we need a Cabaye replacement. So we won't need this ginger twat.

Happy with this if it comes off mind.
Same. Not see. Much tbf but he looks like a lump with a bit of technique and can score.
Imagine that

A free transfer is a good deal. I think people are being a little harsh on him (it's easy to hate the Sunderland thing), we desparetly need bodies and Colback is better than Gosling, so I'm happy with this for now.
This is really starting to wind me up. Gosling turned out to be shit so we are accepting players who just aren't shit now? Should we sign Nicky Butt back because he is better than Alan Smith?
Gosling never needed replacing.
He did need replacing, he wasn't good enough to be in our starting line-up at all. Colback is better, but shouldn't be ahead of what we have, just squad cover.
How/why did he need replacing?

Guess it would be like signing Ince or Zaha and sticking him in the reserves for a season.
Good shouts those names, what have this lads performances been like compared to these two. If he had been in the Championship would we have been looking at the £6m-£15m price bracket?
