QPR vs Newcastle Utd - 12/05/13 @ 3pm (No TV) - a win confirms safety

Kinnel, i'd love to have Tulisa's mouth near my cock, it's hardly brave!!!! I think Simpson is a decent defender but limited going forward and in possession. Currently we need to be solid at the back though. I'd say we need to be solid in attack personally. 1 goal scored in our last 4 games. How many goals did we concede in those 4 games though!!!!!? How many goals did we try to score? A solid attacking base breeds a solid defensive base. I know where you're coming from cos we're creating nothing, but we needed a clean sheet at the weekend pyscologocally after the humpings we'd had. Disagree. You can win games despite conceding goals. You can't win games if you don't score goals. We seem unable to win games if we concede though. Well we're going in circles now. That's because we don't score goals. Bottom line is we need to score goals this weekend. We need a win by hook or by crook. I don't care if Jonas dives to win a last minute penalty. Just want those 3 points. -

The relief a win would bring is unreal. -
Shouldn't get very far. Players can still earn what they want it's just up to the clubs to make sure that is within their operating costs.

Course, that's all I think as well. I'm not confident we'll pull it off (how could I be) but I'm sure Pardew knows a win is absolutely essential. Does that matter though? He's not going to change how he approaches a game. Well we'll see. He won't become a different manager overnight, but he knows his aim clearly and so I think he'll at least go out and let his better players try to win it for him. I fully expect Ben Arfa and Gouffran to be subbed on the 65th/70th minute for defensive players when we still need a goal.

Any win will do. If we win goal difference won't be an issue I'm sure.

It is remarkable that sides like Norwich, Fulham and Southampton, teams who people labelled safe weeks and weeks ago, are now not safe. Even you're not safe. If as expected you lose to Chelsea, Wigan beat Swansea but lose to Arsenal and some how we beat QPR and Norwich beat West Brom at home then you could go down if you lose to Wigan. Far from safe, you're right there. But it's about probabilities. I just looked at RTG and they're talking about how they're safe. They're not, there are lots of teams who are not safe, so you look at what they need to do to make themselves safe, and you need to go to QPR and win. No matter how shit your manager is, or how poor you've been for months now, that does not change the fact that you've got a really excellent chance to pick up three points. Look at us, a little over seven days ago, we were looking the most likely to challenge Wigan to go down. A couple of wins and we've drifted to about 28-30 / 1 with the bookies. There is next to nothing in it for lots of clubs, and three points make a huge, huge difference. Of all the teams playing this weekend, who have an - on paper - easier chance to pick up three points than you? All of them. We don't play for wins away from home.

If that's aimed at me, I meant the players... who visibly ran out of ideas on Saturday when HBA/Gouffran went off and Cisse was relocated to the win. I don't think Pardew's hands are tied whatsoever, he's had a good enough squad this season to have us in the top half without many issues. Not aimed at anyone mate, especially not you, you little pitbull , just my opinion. As i said tied my arse. No, I just meant because I'd just used the phrase "hands are tied" in my post just now (meaning the players) and didn't want to be misunderstood. I just hope we can put a good side out on Sunday and largely stick to it, I don't care if Ben Arfa's keeling over by the end we need him on the pitch on the off-chance he can produce something. Our dynamism and creativity is non-existent without players such as him, Gouff and Marv on the pitch. I know what you mean, i just hope the twat leaves our match winners on. The hands tied thing, i'm sure i saw it earlier, someone reckoned his hands were tied, which i think is utter bollocks and it was your post which jogged my memory. That was me, Bimpy, and they are. This game is entirely different to any that have come before. I don't give a shit about how much you hate him, or for how long he's had you crying. He knows this. Our players know this. We will try to win this game, and I'll go into it believing that we can. Yes, he'll try to win it but he'll try to win it like he tries to win every game - by keeping it tight as much as possible and hoping to nick a goal. If we get one, he'll send on defensive midfielders and back off to defend 1-0. He'll try to win but he won't change his approach. I agree, despite it not working for so many of the last how ever many games. A novel approach would be to attack moderately from the off and follow a first goal scored by trying to get a second, then a third, etc. The ultra-cautious approach isn't working and we need to steer clear of it. Just so annoying. If we survive I'm convinced Pardew will be gone and we can rebuild and have a much better season. If we're relegated that's the club done as a top flight team for a long, long time. Can't see how we'd rebuild the team significantly to compete in the Championship. Especially with Ashley in charge.

It is remarkable that sides like Norwich, Fulham and Southampton, teams who people labelled safe weeks and weeks ago, are now not safe. Our manager said we were safe in March. I thought you were safe as soon as the January window closed. I compared it to our near total lack of activity and felt suicidal. You have a positive manager though. That's worth way more than a January shopping spree.

Crazy that Norwich had 25 points after 17 games. They really might be the team to save us.
-
With the way results have gone I wouldn't be surprised if Wigan beat Arsenal, Villa beat Chelsea, Norwich beat Man City and Sunderland beat Spurs.
-
I see us 24 hours away from 18th place, with only 2 games to go. And your next fixture is as easy as it gets. You'll win at QPR and this'll seem like a distant time of panic. You're underestimating how negative our manager is.
-
If Wigan fail to beat Arsenal yes.

Got a point haven't i though, how defeatist sounding is he. He talks up losing before we play, well the excuses that no longer wash. That must filter through into the team and the way we have played i think it almost certainly has. I hate the fucker, he really is useless and i can't stand to see that man in our dugout. I think it'll be a draw. I don't with this cunt in charge, i can sniff his losing excuse already. I think that QPR already being relegated will be in effect, but we're not good enough to make it into a win. I think as always under this idiot, we will let them have the ball, let them dictate the pace. They will play with a freedom and Pardew will just have us sit back and hope to nick something. The same man who thought it was a good idea to leave it until the last 20 minutes to get two goals against Benfica. -

Given the enormous pressure on this game now I wouldn't be surprised if we sat back for the whole game waiting for 'one moment of magic'. -
We were done after the Stoke game according to this cunt.
