I think you need to consider extracting yourself from his back end. Going to try making some points of your own?? You know, points that have some SUBSTANCE behind them. What is it about these facts and figures concerning our steadily declining income and dangerously spiralling ratio of wages to turnover that strikes you as insubstantial, exactly? And what is it that you don't understand about this decline coming about due to the droppoing off of performances on the field of play, rather than consistent mismanagment of the clubs finances by the Board? You must think the same as Shepherd because he also thought that we were also doing badly. Clearly you weren't watching matches from about 18 months prior to the date Robson left. The poor financial situation originates from the bad appointment of Souness, not from overall bad running of the business over an extended period of time. Good try. Doesn't wash though. He's average, no better than that. He doesn't know if he's supposed to be a forward breaking type of CM or a defensive one, so he does neither very well and doesn't have the ability anyway to be outstanding at either. We did better last season without him because the balance of the team was better. The same still applies.

People ignoring the evidence and clinging to Parker being 'great' just like people wouldn't have it that Jenas was average/shite until he was on his out the door. bluelaugh.gif What a laugh. As for a Parker/Butt partnership...that would still be dodgy because Butt is definitely a defensive player and what the fúck does Parker create? He's the biggest square ball merchant since Jenas, the only difference is he puts his foot in, shame he spends half the match on his arse and a great pecentage of the rest watching the play.

I'd sooner sell Parker tbh. You'd rather have Butt playing there? I'm losing count of the times someone's posted what seems like a loaded 'Butt' question at me. I'd prefer Butt/Dyer in the centre to Parker/Emre, I believe it has a better balance for the team. I don't think Parker or Emre are bad per se but they are a bad partnership. I don't really mind that much which one left but I wouldn't be unhappy if one of them does. Parker runs around in circles, passing short square balls to the full back and diving into challenges, mainly falling on his arse in the process. Emre can at least pick out a pass that might create something, or I think he could if there was some movement up ahead of him. I think Parker would still pass it square 3 or 4 yards. Both Parker and Emre play too deep for us, but I think Emre has the ability to do more going forward if he can somehow be made to play 5 yards further up the field. Parker doesn't know what he is but certainly doesn't have the creative ability in the oppositions half. IMO Overall of the two I'd sooner Parker left first. We have a natural DM in Butt.
