    £8m For Emre?

The problem with that is the funds we get from selling a player has to be spent replaceing them , our squad is to thin to sell players and use the money to buy a player for another position. Replacing Emre is not top priority now, defenders and a striker are but if Emre was sold then his replacement would become a top priority..

    £8m For Emre?

The Parker + Emre CM pairing reminds of of England and the Gerrard + Lampard pairing, both great players but together it just does not work. They cannot decide who will push and who will stick and by the time they decide on it we lose the advantage gained, for me Parker starts and Emre should be Parker's cover. Parker at Charlton is the kind of player we need him to be, a box to box Bowyer type without the temper, but that means we need a midfield player that will hold and be dedicated to the holding role like Claude Makelele is.
  4. Emre and Sibi both passed fitness tests but Harper is to have a late fitness test, I think he will play though, he has done for a few games now. Playing through the pain for the cause. true Geordie.

    £8m For Emre?

If Newcastle's near the top at the end of the season?? If a bid of £8m came in for Emre I'm sure FFS would snap their hands off. Aye even if Roeder wanted to keep him Fred will sell sell sell.

he doesnt have a choice due to the transfer window My bad meant end of season..
  7. Oh well atleast Emre is confident. http://www.sportinglife.com/football/cups/uefacup/news/story_get.dor?STORY_NAME=soccer/06/11/02/SOCCER_Newcastle_Emre.html

    £8m For Emre?

Anyway sell Emre and buy a big hard strong CM who can release Parker to be that box to box CM he was at Charlton, we are desperate for a bit of power and size in the middle of of line up. Diop for £8 mill ? or would Coleman want more ?
  9. May depend on how manyw e get beat by tonight and if we win on Saturday or not, if Shef beat us then I reckon there will be a mass uproar, but if we draw or win then nothing will be said.
  10. Now it makes sense, Vieira has picked our tacticts for tonight http://icnewcastle.icnetwork.co.uk/newcastleunited/news/tm_headline=vieira-is-united%2Ds-secret-weapon%26method=full%26objectid=18031044%26siteid=50081-name_page.html

    £8m For Emre?

Will Emre wait until Jan? he did say in the story where he let the Bayern story slip that the club wanted him to stay and he wanted to stay also. He may not want to go over there and play but its a great offer for an injury prone player who has not shown his best form here. I really hope Fred plays this out right though, Fergie needs to be offering way more than Rossi for the rest of the season. Wedon't need to look happy to sell I want Fergie to beg..

    £8m For Emre?

ohhhhhhhhhh Fergie is being nice to us and now I see why, £8 mill for Emre I would take but Man Ure are going to need to sweeten us way more then Rossi on loan for half a season.
  13. I don't need to click the link mate to be able to tell you we are going to get hammerd. You have nothing to fear from our team..
  14. I bet most who watched that game last night only watched to see if a huge fight broke out anyway, it was always going to be a bad temperd affair after Jose wound it right up, but in the end I think a draw was a fair result.
  15. What I can't understand though is the lads who watched the reserves play said he was utter shite , had no interest at all. So how on earth is he getting a start ? or are we just so desperate we have no choice but to play him.
  16. If we spend money on that fkn statue is will have a fk fit, see how shite he was agianst us even Boro subbed him..
  17. We are never going to be able to second guess Glenn on this, fk knows how he will play it, Emre being in the squad is good news but he may not even make the becnh. Luque starting does suggest a 4-4-2 though, unless he is going to play him wide left along with Nobby, Butt, Zoggy and Milner accross the middle with Sibi up top alone.
  18. Who knows he may shock us and fight for every ball and score a hatrick. bluelaugh.gif bluelaugh.gif bluelaugh.gif

Steve Harper, Tim Krul, Fraser Forster, Pavel Srnicek, Shay Given, Steven Taylor, Craig Moore, Titus Bramble, Peter Ramage, Paul Huntington, Olivier Bernard, Nobby Solano, Emre, Charles N'Zogbia, Nicky Butt, James Milner, James Troisi, Matty Pattison, Alan O'Brien, Albert Luque, Giuseppe Rossi, Antoine Sibierski, Andy Carroll --------------------Harper Taylor------Moore-------Bramble-----Bernard Nobby-------Milner--------Butt----------Zoggy ---------------Sibi-------Luque BENCH Krul Ramage Huntington Emre Pattison O'Brien Carroll
  20. "slight Knocks" rubbish, but he does not want to come out and say he is resting them and appear to not be taking the EUFA cup seriously. We get 1 days rest after this match and for once Roeder has done the right thing, we did not have much chance of winning this game anyway so keeping the key players fit for Saturday is a good thing.
  21. He is a disgrace he likes the attention is got nothign to do with helping his lads its all baout him! I hate the bloke and the way that game was played last night FIFA should bollock both clubs, Champions League looked more like kids trying to work each other in school. Real shame too coz there was soem nice footbal played at time.

    Chopra

He did'nt do much here at all he did get a few chances too but left to play regular football but I heard he only wanted another loan spell away and not to be sold. One thing for sure if he does make it as a top player his love for the Toon would bring him back. 2 against the scum last night though bluelaugh.gif Geordie hero bluebiggrin.gif
  23. I have wanted to see Titus play that role for ages, I think not being the last line of deffence would take a lot of pressure off him, he is quick eats up the pitch and rather see him flying into tackle up the field ouit of the box thean last minute dive in, in the box. He has a canny pass on himw hen he bothers, sometimes under pressure he hurrys the pass in like panic mode but with players still behind him he wil lclam and find his range. my thoughts anyway

    4-3-3

A 4-3-3 would just see us over ran, make it a 4-5-1 and we may drag a draw out of it, I hate 4-5-1 but with the players we have fit and where we are going to, I say kill the gmae!
  25. I am in shock but I am going to suggest a 4-5-1 bluebigeek.gif -------------------Harper Carr-------Taylor-------Moore-------Baba ------------------Bramble ---------Parker----------------Butt Nobby----------------------------------Duff --------------------Sibi
