French referees...
-
Neymar scores a pen for PSG. Should've let Mbappe hit it tbh.
You watching the game?
Bordeaux offering very little I'd imagine.
Both teams were unbeaten before today, hoped it would have been a bit more of a contest.
PSG is just on a run. Bordeaux have been alright going forward, their striker is horrible though.
De Preville, yeah... Seemed like a typical bargain basement gamble to get him in.
Oh well, 6 now.

No explanation needed, really.

Huge.
Well done lads.

That's a lot of trust LFEE. Can I just wonder up the pitch after 2 minutes and leave HTT to you?
-
Don't know how the ref bought the dive in the Ireland match like. Was clear on first viewing
It's tragic the state of refereeing.
Embarrassing by Mitro also though.

He's better than the 6 of them combined.
Errrr ok.
Gouffran, Gosling & Sammy Ameobi have negative properties. It works.
-
Saw him in the car park of Metrocentre once. There, that's all I can think of right now about his time here.
Hope he enjoyed it.

Worst Barça XI
Busquets Sr.
Sánchez-Jara
Chygrynsky
Cristanval
Bogarde
Petit
Rochemback
Prosinecki
Alfonso
Maxi López
Dugarry
Did Dugarry not get played out of position in his few games for Barca?

Making your mind up on a player purely based on stats.
I'm still waiting for Riviere to recreate his 12 goal a season form at Monaco tbh.
His regression to the mean is going to be amazing! Believe.

Hmm, that's a tough one... He might be a world beater when not hungover.
HTT playing the long game.

Well therein lies a big part of the problem. Everything is always black and white and blame either swings 100% one way or another. I'd say in such an instance Aguero absolutely needs to receive blame also. Warning, or suspensions if repeated etc...
Otherwise, it's just good on him, pat on the back and move on to the next time.
And there's no other real word for it than "flopping"
-
Regardless of the rule, I doubt the FA would have any interest involving itself in rescinding yellow cards that have been issued to the correct player by a referee. There is a lot more subjectivity involved in the issuance of a yellow card than a straight red. Any foul can be given as a yellow card at the referee's discretion.
In theory of course this is right. And it's also partly my point that it would be very silly to get to such a situation.
But when you see all the terrible or very soft yellow cards that pollute matches (most of which will result in bans one way or another) then it becomes a logical idea.
-
They re-emphasised rules about retrospective bans for players flopping. Yet to see them really apply it.
We'll see what Aguero gets.
They should be dishing out 5 or more bans every week these days.
-
Second yellows can't be rescinded can they?
Nope, which is a disgrace.
Given how easily and wrongly they dish them out now, the rule should adapt.
You should be able to rescind single yellows too!
The softness of the refereeing plus the overreactions by basically every player, always nowadays. Tedium of watching games is just getting worse.
-
The phrase "this is why we can't have nice things" comes to mind.
Worrying that he might get stick for home games now.

Barcelona XI to play Real Betis: Ter Stegen, Semedo, Rakitic, Sergio, Messi, Mascherano, Deulofeu, Alcácer, Alba, S. Roberto, Umtiti
Pretty grim, that.
Messi playing left back, tough times.
-
Class by Kante. Eriksen wanted to bring him down, but he was having none of it.

[emoji38] Diame.
That was hilarious, tbf.

Another class day. Thanks to all.
I know we say it often but yeah, should organise more regular kickabouts.
