They always do that (much like after Henry's handball). Say they'll consider it, think about it in the heat of the moment but then when things calm down say they're not interested.

Also, seeing as we might have lost to Germany anyway and certainly wouldn't have won the tournament... if Lampard's non goal is final straw that makes FIFA implement Hawkeye then it would have been totally worth it.
