We're just going to have to get over the whole Colback thing aren't we?
It's difficult. Tried not to mention him in my above post... But I've failed now.

Big day for Perez this.

Was a fun game that, the morning really flashed by!
Quality players on both sides which made things quite even. We should have won though... I'm prepared to admit now that going 6-1 down at the start of the game wasn't the best tactic.
-
Looks like that's the hardest he's hit anything in a while!

The way the season has gone is a good indicator of what level we need to maintain. We've had quite a few slip ups, really, and here we are sitting top. From here onwards you'd expect the slip ups to be less frequent especially at home and the string of good results to be a little bit longer.
No looking back hopefully.

Isn't he wearing some new Jordan brand boots as well tonight? That's unfortunate.

Too right Tino!
Fucking Sky cunts.

Retired? Well that makes me feel old.
The guy was a class act and clearly had a lot of time and love for Newcastle.

Don't have anything against the bloke tbh. Have no doubt he tried his best, the job was just too much for the daft shite.
Agree here though. Plus would do the whole McClaren experiment all over again if it meant getting Benitez in the end.

Seems strange. Reckon he'll take them up next season, calling it now.
He'll take them up on their settlement offer of employment termination, aye.

Nice... Early goal, I'm guessing he did his famous looking at his wristwatch celebration!

Christ...
"nice little earner" ffs

Looking forward to meeting people off of here though and the game itself.
Absolutely, will be great to get to meet you

Was so typical a collapse and anti climax. The already slim cup hopes were in tatters.

Didn't Shearer also sign a years extension in 2005?
Seem to remember it being in the lead up to the infamous Villa game with the Dyer/Bowyer scrap. Steven Taylor was also sent off in that game.
Bit of a fantasist is Saunders
Yeah, he was due to retire but on April 1st 2005 the news dropped he was signing on for another year.

Come on, if a Newcastle player had scored that we'd be harping on about it for weeks. Best piece of skill was how he beat the first man though.
-
Ooh, West Ham v Sunderland now that could be a very interesting one. Hammers desperate for something positive home.
-
Didn't see the game but as I saw mentioned in the match thread... Playing the bottom of the Championship might be his level
-
I don't know, this is very much looking like them pushing their luck one too many times.
-
Up against fellow 'waster' of the same generation Jeremy Ménez and Bordeaux.
-
Looking forward to see Atsu start. Good for Ritchie to be rested a bit, we need him for the whole season.
Very true. Atsu to spread his wings a little could be very good.
If only Rafa could find a way to banish the ginger retard for good.

So pissing about has cost them an extra £2.5m due to brexit which they all voted for?
Brilliant
Haha, well put

Well, that was fun.
