I think the top three at the moment would be: Van Der Saar Shay Given Jens Lehman

Just realised that the site in question is .co.uk ... thought he meant this site.

Maybe not... we're lucky (in a way) to have our home kit changing during the gap years (non WC and non Euro year) so we get different designs from the ones adidas uses to genericaly asign all their national sides.
-
What is small time about that? Most clubs in England do it tbh. I guess it's for promotional/advertising purposes etc I know it is... but it's extremely lame.
-
It's always the same... Around end May-June time. And we'll probably wear it for the last home game of the season (although I hate that! it's so fucking smalltime, wish we didnt).
-
yeah, nike. I fear our next home kit. I think the last 4 home kits we've had have been great. The last two especially. We're due a cack one.

As the cliché goes, Jesus wept. The truth often hurts. Blatant WUM's often bore... His hatred of Shearer seems to be very genuine though. A very petty man.

Correct! ... finally bluecool.gif

1) NUFC Player of 2006 - Shay Given, had a good think about it... but there can't really be any other. 2) NUFC Young Player of 2006 - Charles N'Zogbia, close call between Taylor and him, but I'll go for the Zog. 3) Best game of 2006 - Sunderland 1-4 Newcastle, no debate really 4) Worst game of 2006 - Newcastle 0-1 Sheff Utd, with the added disapointment of the Charlton match just before, horrible. 5) Best NUFC Goal of 2006 - Parker vs Charlton (a) for me too, although still annoyed we made it count for nothing within seconds with some shody defending 6) Best goal conceded in 2006 - Gerrard (1-3 v Liverpool, home, March 06) 7) Favourite Alan Shearer moment of 2006 - Record breaking goal v Pompey 8 ) Best atmosphere at SJP in 2006 - Shearer Testimonial 9) Best away game of 2006 - Sunderland 1-4 Newcastle 10) Best opposing player in 2006 - Wayne Rooney, we always get played off the park against ManU.

Damn it, bastards... 2-1 Arsenal
-
All the more reason to keep playing Huntington and maybe even Edgar... if "established" pros will be making the same mistakes as 18 year old first timers... then might as well let the youngsters learn from their mistakes.
-
^ exactly... some of the injuries we do have are irrelevant or even blessings in disguise.
-
I think we'll score tomorrow... however also think we'll lose. 2-1 or 3-1 the most likely. We might also get to wear the away kit for the first time in a competitive game!!
-
or something like "The Refs"
-
Well the ball went out for a goal kick... that's when Given came off and Pavel came. So it was great reception etc etc... And Pav's first task was to take the goal kick. Placed the ball, whole crowd doing that "ooooohhhhhhhhh" as he prepares himself, runs up.... and slightly miskicks it driving it rather low only as far as Ramage who managed to hook it up the field ... Cut out a cross with a good catch amongst the crowd minutes later though.
-
yeah, nothing wrong with the magpied. I also like it how fans from other teams call us the barcodes sometimes
-
yeap was a great shame. Some good coverage of him on Football first though... glad that first goal kick he took didnt cost us
-
I think.... I think "the Saints" is taken
-
Also delighted with the way Huntington is playing and has been brought in.
-
Got to make up somehow for not scoring the goals

Their is no way you can blame Duff for Zog's drop in form. Zog has been rubbish this year but that has nothing to do with Duff. No... but it does have to do with the club being lured into making another trophy signing when it wasn't needed, and has proved to be a negative move so far.
-
But if you want to say that, then he shouldntve been allowed back on to the pitch, which he was. West ham/fulham wasnt red but was foul/yellow Think barton's was harsh That was the way I saw it too... seeing as Carvalho came outside the "playing area" because of his own momentum he should still count as an active player, therefore covering and making Heskey onside. This, what seems to be popular interpretation of the rule where the instant you step outside of the white line, you don't count anymore should be bollocks, and was proved to be for this goal.

Without a microsecond of hesitation, ManU.
