Well, someone's croaking tomorrow now.

Still can barely believe what happened last night. Not so much that we lost, but the way we did and we set up.

All of McClaren's spiel is about doing the right things, setting things up properly so that over a large enough sample of games we'd do alright.

Which is exactly what you have to do in the situation we are in.

However in effect it's the complete opposite and McClaren's making noises. We're setting out weirdly and managing changes horrifically. Proof of that is that even the one good result against West Brom was jeopardised by the game management.

Not a viable strategy and we'll just get done by any team that aren't completely as negative in their approach.

What a footballing weekend! And no NUFC to come a tarnish it. Glorious.

Whichever plays the best football. In recent years that's been Barcelona, Arsenal and Dortmund, but it's just about how they play rather than them as a club. For example, I like Stoke this season but have never liked them as a club.

Been fascinated with Dortmund for a few years now. Positive football, and all round class approach to what being a football club means. It's what I wish NUFC aspired to be like. Especially in the aftermath of the whole Pardew ear.

I like the energy that Tottenham have about them. Sometimes it goes wrong, but respect to the mentality and they've had for years. We've had some tough trips at White Hart Lane.

Even we didn't concede more than 1 at West Brom.
