Overhead kicks and bullet headers... great to see !
-
It's horrifically worrying that they would happily disallow that Wilson goal.
-
Balotelli, Micah Richards, that Crystal Palace fan or all of them?
-
Goal difference was such a big part of our success last season and the pressure we were able to exert teams chasing us in the league. Losing at Brighton isn't a catastrophe but very disappointing to ship three goals just like that.
-
Yes, but at the same time we've done slightly better in these corresponding fixtures vs last year. Still, is there a worse feeling in football than having to say to Liverpool: Fair enough, deserved.
-
Just as embarrassing as anybody else with those penalty claims there.
-
Looked like it was more ankle level, no ?
-
We'll just have to score at least 3 goals every game.
-
When Liverpool come to town... We can't have anything nice.
-
It was coming. We invited them in.
-
Well, that was absolutely terrible from Barnes :lo:
-
We need to take control here. Desperate for a goal now. They are dominating us, you'd think we're the team who are down to 10.
-
They'll be asking for any contact possible, certainly, but Joelinton is just being stupid here.
-
Let's be professional and ruthless here. Couldn't wish for a better start but still plenty to do to make sure this is in the bag.
-
Van Dijk being very professional there, I see.
-
So many red players crowding the ref there. One big joke.
-
Tidy finish that. Get in.
-
Indeed. In this instance, getting booked for time wasting has given TAA the right to a free blatant foul. Pretty contrary to what everyone's trying to achieve I'm sure.
-
If he doesn't book him just before for the pettiness with the ball, he certainly gives it to him for the foul. So bad. In that case what is the point of being tough on time wasting?

Distin, good shout. It was really frustrating when he didn't sign permanently at the end of the 2002 season. He had fit in so seamlessly, and when central defence was the main area that team needed help it felt like the most natural thing for all parties to lock it up.

It really is pretty farcical. Always ugly I find when these things last after the start of the season. It devalues the symbolic of the season kicking off. PSG have wasted their first game. Hard to know who is more to blame though, because Mbappe himself and PSG as an organisation both seem as bad as each other.

Big weekend for mister Shearer. Kane gone, five-one and birthday celebrations this Sunday. 53.
