I asked the same question as he was miles offside at the start when the ball was played in, trotting out and not interfering with play. I'm told that the Hull player then headed the ball as he got onside and started a new phase of the play.

The ball was then headed (not deflected, it was a proper header) from the Hull player and you can't be offside from an opponent playing the ball (you can from a deflection which is the difference).

I get that, but the defenders were certainly trying to stop the ball getting to him in the first place and it wasn't a new phase at all as he profited straight away from being in that offside position. Quite clearly should have been halted, imo.

Anyway, not to get into it too much. Both finishes from Gomis were brilliant.

I don't mind the blue lines too much. Adds something a little different without being too overbearing. Plus most of the bottom of the shirt will be tucked in most of the time.
