The lows of getting beat really are low but winning more than makes up for that, I can't wait for this game. neither can i. just to get it over with. and with us being the dominant team for so long the mackems were expecting defeat anyway.
-
he did. he said he was laughing at the time and was even laughing when he got locked in the changing rooms as he thought it was deliberate. one of the funniest things i've seen in football was steve watson crease up laughing when it was all silent till he got the ball....then "BOOOOOOOO" and even the crowd was laughing.

I agree. Cannot stand it. i have a little speech and its probably the only thing i can say with clarity when in such a state that i can't even get my jaws to work enough to tell taxis drivers where to take me without pointing...and it goes thus.......... "even if we were beating the likes of barce, milan, inter, munich week in,week out and they were getting beat off jarrow roofing and esh whinning i'd still loath playing them ..just in case....we always have more to lose"
-
i like to think we'll get the chance to boo him. can't see him starting and he'll only get on if they are having to throw everything at us.
-
wouldn't even drink when i were there....scared i reckon.
-
this'll get laughed out but i always thought kevin scott was pretty hard. never scared of anyone and always in there when things turned feisty.
-
what pisses me off with styles was that he couldn't just say he got it wrong. instead he pathetically tried to justify it as with the infamous gerrard pen a couple of years back. "ooops got that wrong..heres aplan though,i'll change the entire rules of the game to try and get me off the hook and hope no-one notices........i've done it before"

chilled now. tomorrow as ever on derby day i'll be a beacon of stoical calm. hate and loath derby days.always have, always will.we always have more to lose.
-
anyone hear a rumour about martins being out for tomorrow ?
-
haven't got sky in. at work at 16:30 so can't drink. might just try and ignore it till it's over.
-
no it can't can if its from behind (so the leading leg comes round the side then the trailing leg wipes the man out from behind)

i don't even think style's positioning was that bad considering the way the move broke but you are right about needing to be 100%certain on decisions like that. it's a catch 22 if you ask me. the ref's wrong decision galvanized our team and the fans, and we may not have put in the blood and thunder performance had we not been wronged. it's part of the beauty and addictiveness of football, and I feel the system works well the way it is (in terms of reviewing incidents and rescinding cards etc.). the players make human errors during the game, so why shouldn't refs be given that right as long as they admit their mistakes, and are punished accordingly. that should never excuse rank bad decision making.
-
I think Styles is bluffing and would have changed his mind if it wasn't for the Man U cock up, he probably knows this one will be the balls up which drops him out of the top flight and is trying to stop that from happening. leaves th FA in the position of possibly having to admit that one of their refs doesn't know the rules he is supposed to be applying......or if styles is right, all the others have been getting it wrong.
-
that w as in a couple of todays papers with the idea that styles was trying to wriggle out of it by using the argument that beye may have got the ball but his momentum made him foul the player.....................should someone at the FA sit him down with DVD of the same match and ask him why he missed all the other tackles which he deemed as fair when a player hit the deck AFTER being beaten to the ball.
-
i worked with martyn mc fadden about 20yrs ago. he was a knob then aswell.
-
styles is lucky in a way as his totally inept performance, first half in particular, is being forgotten about because of this one decision.
-
he already is a pillock so he has little to lose.
-
On an individual level, i'd agree. But i think it'd be more beneficial to the team though if he was on the right and Duff/Zog was on the left. Geremi/Jonas is better than Jonas/N'Zogbia imo. Agree completely mate. better still with duff hitting a bit of form and being capable of playing on the right to have them switch now and again.

barton wont be match fit. start on the bench. get some minutes under his belt before considering bringing him in as a starter. some people should remember how shit he was last season till easter time and even then, though he got better he wasn't anything special just a damn sight better than his earlier season form.
-
the nightmare scenario................no red card rescind, owen and gutierrez not fit. given taylor bassong coloccini enrique/n'zogbia geremi guthrie butt duff ameobi martins.
-
in one of todays papres there was a pic of the incident. (may have been the sun back page...but its not on the website)which nailed it. foot to ball acroos the front of the man.
-
the domi/helder goals game and the o'brien equaliser games were probably the only recent occasions.
-
was probably HTT nah. he'd have been at home watching a shark DVD.
