can't accept facts unless it suits you Dave Really looking forward to the new board emulating souness and roeder and allardyce On a financial ground, there are a canny few people having doubts about renewing season tickets. Whats your view on that ie does it mean the club are a less attractive proposition to the fans in comparison to the last board that couldn't do anything right ? fyp answer the question for you to answer " do you think we'll emulate the souness/roeder years and the direction that was going ? I'm talking about the european qualifications. As you mention Roeder, you are aware we finished 7th in the league, a position we topped only once in 30 years previous to the old board taking over in 1992. Still, I'm sure you will ignore this. Remind us again, where did we finish last season and how many players have we managed to sign while beating off competition from our major rivals ? we finished 7th and was the club going forwards or backwards ?..........why did roeder leave by the way ? personally i'd be happy not to beat our competition to any players so long as we finish above them.

when was the last time man utd bought an outfield player that age ? Hargreaves. and when was the last time the clubs that buy "trophy players" that win the trophies have a debt that only a s*** board has to service ? Answer = they all have. Still, I'm sure that supporting a club that reports a profit every year will fill the ground with supporters and will enable us all to wear our shirts with pride rather than be laughed at for playing in the San Siro and other major european grounds again......why can they service larger debt than us ? the same rerason some can afford larger mortgages (debt) than others....income ! 1.5bn quid between them proves that having a debt doesn't stop you winning trophies or you are a badly run club. End of story. And thats before Liverpool begin to finance the building of a new stadium, I mean , I'm sure they should look at us and see us as the role model as to how it should be done and learn from our mistakes did i say any debt stops you winning trophies ? having debt you cant afford fucks you though. who couldn;t afford it, with 52000 crowds and one of the biggest incomes in the country ? What a load of s****. biggest incomes but no operating profits...........near 70% on players wages....you dont see aproblem ?

every club loses money on some players....compare their turnover and profits to ours.

I think I watched a different game to you, he was all over from what I could see. Perhaps you were mostly watching the game as in mostly focusing on what was going on around the ball? Being the sad superfan that I am, I was mostly watching Arshavin both off and on the ball. if you were his manager, basiung your game plan around his use of the ball would you be telling him to work more off the ball so he wouldn't have the legs to make those runs when he had it. Fair play to Hiddink if he advised Arshavin not to overexert himself until after the hour mark, but we have to remember that it will be 90 minutes rather than 120 minutes in the average game. henry and begkamps workrate was s**** then ? (or martins) Exhibits a and b are good examples of a team being built around an individual attacking player, something I can't see a Top Four side be willing to do at the present. The other quite rightly does not play for a top four club and is the perfect example of a talented but damaged player. it's got nothing to do with a top 4 club or not it;s tactics in relation to particular players, top 4 bottom 4 whichever.

i agree and we shouldn't compare with similar players from that country but i can't help thinking "luzhny" Worry not; he was Ukranian. his name had a "z" followed by an "h" so thats close enough for me
-
why do we have to have a 3-man midfield ? i think the comparison with beardsley so far is the closest

he's playing off a front man and is the fulcrum of the team (notice the difference in their first 2 games and last 2).any manager would kick him up the arse for working too much off the ball.it's not as if he's letting people just run past him with the ball.
-
just my opinion but i don't think he'll be going to any of the premier leagues top 4.

what about clinical depression or any of the many psychosis people can undergo through no fault of their own. it's a bit like i wouldn't expect you to top yourself if i said "why don't you shut the f*** up as you obviously have not got a clue what you are gibbering on about" where as for some that may be enough to push them over the edge due to the position thay are in. I really hope you're not expecting a sensible debate about this with him there isn't anything to debate
