James Maddison (now playing for Tottenham Hotspur)
madras replied to The Prophet's topic in Football
That would make me a Newcastle, Spurs, Burnley, Ajax, AC Milan, PSV, St Etienne and Nantes fan who liked Northern Ireland and Argentina. -
And over how long ?
-
How many of those are new deals ? That would give a better comparison.
-
To be fair I'd say Isak, Botman and Bruno are Champions league level.

And they know they won't get it but you'd always ask for more than you think you'll get. -
Like you say the rich are greedy. It's why I'd opt out for something else.
-
Not me. Wouldn't mind doing volunteering but that would be much more on my terms but then I'll bet the Benzemas etc of this world are keeping the vast majority of what they earn.

Could the plan be if we can get Madison for 40mill it's a goer but any more and we may as well stump up for Dom. -
Everyone could in theory. Work longer purely for the money (ie no need to work)and give more as a result.
-
Doesn't seem to have been that well guarded.
-
Who is this Alfonso chap ? Reliable source ?
-
I could do that anyway as a mega multi millionaire. Even on a personal level, I'll be financially richer working until 67 but I want out as soon as possible.
-
Shut it pissy.
-
Even if you were already a multi millionaire who could easily pack in today and never have a fear of yourself or your family ever having to consider needing to work ?
-
How much is enough ? It's rare true enough but not unheard of. I'm sure Colo got an offer from China but decided to go back to San Lorenzo.
-
Hey hey, West Allotment Celtic are crying real tears in the corner now. After their highest finish ever as well !
-
Don't think I would. If I were already a mega multi millionaire I'd like to think money wouldn't be any sort of factor in deciding where to go if I was to carry on.
-
It doesn't change. I'm 56.
-
I'm not. I wouldn't swap positions for a second.
-
Have a listen to him and Sutton. If I'm ever in a Guantanemo type situation I will betray my friends, family, loves ones the lot if they played them two onto my cell to make it stop.
-
Likely to keep Moyes in place a little longer? Only possible silver lining.
-
Takes us back to a question I asked a while back hoping someone in the know would answer. How is the club now viewed throughout the game developmental wise ?
-
You've heard that rumour as well eh ?

Champions League 2023/2024: Group F (Newcastle, Milan, Dortmund, PSG)
madras replied to Marko NUFC's topic in Football
Quite pleased. Have a little liking for Antwerp after our re-entry into Europe under Keegan and their fans were canny in the bars considering they were 5-0 down fr9m their home leg. I know folk that went to the game over there and we seem to have been well received.
