No, last seasons pot is empty.
-
You're sayingvwe should have ran a balanced book for 3yrs ?
-
Gordon or Isak or Bruno ? Rather none but Gordon out of the three. I've slight doubts over him playing against deeper defences
-
Pretty much my starting position every morning when I wake up.
-
Not when some teams have a massive e head start.
-
And that gets me thinking, getting in a seasons training ground sponsor, training kit sponsor etc would have been easy even under FMV, looks like we could have sold Trippier (I originally all thought he didn't agree terms)....... are we that far off or are we deliberately looking to trigger it ?
-
That's a stretch. More likely other teams will think we need to sell so knock down the price.
-
Wouldn't that only drive his price down ?
-
I thought it was his decision ?
-
That's where I'm at.
-
You don't get how FMV works. If we sell below value then thats "FMV" as that's what's someone was willing to pay, if we sell above value , say to Saudi, that's when it's a contravention.
-
For accounting purposes, say both players are valued at 10mill, both have a 10 million incoming onto the books but due to amortisation it's only 2mill going out for thus seasons accounts.
-
I'd imagine any offer would be explored. Can't think of any player in this country who is "no, not at any price"?
-
I remember "Geordies" chants from Sunderland.

So, despite playing Gordon on the right when he first came, hus playing as much on the right as left at Everton, buying Barnes as well, having Joelinton and Anderson, you say Gordon would have only been played on the left had those two not been injured ? Righto
-
Re Joe.....which clubs could you see him going to ? I'm thinking West Ham and that's it. Re Gordon, his debut was on the right, he played on the right at Bournemouth and Brentford before being subbed and he's played much more on the left due to injuries to Barnes, Joe and Willock. I'm not saying he's a RW but I'm not saying he's a LW either. He can do both but because he played very well on the left through necessity he's now being pigeon holed.
-
Gordon a LW when we bought him ? he'd played as much on the right for Everton. Gordon is the ideal Howe player as he can play both sides so we can rotate like you wanted.
-
Who would you sell Big Joe to ? I think he's a player who's a fit for us, but not for many others who can pay that fee and wages.
-
I'm guessing he's been well monitored and what if it's more than 3points ?
-
Fucked over by Kane. He was never the same after that.
-
How fucking lucky is he that he came here ?
