  1. He'll be ower the moon Barton upset Diaby.
  2. http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=568648 That second post

  4. The fans yesterday were fantastic but to say we are the best in the land is debatable. It was a turn of phrase to emphasise how good we were. I hadn't actually weighed up the merits of each and every set of supporters
  5. I love the fact he's just came over for a few weeks to do a few talk ins, watch a few games and enjoy life on Tyneside again.
  6. If rumours are to be believed we've been tracking him for a while but the price has put us off.
  7. I just reading through that thread started by the young sports journo and it's bloody brilliant entertainment. It's hilarious that the ones who are talking about how they would never attend an NUFC match for any reason are also the ones that are cocksure X number of fans left and the ones that remained were booing the team constantly in complete contradiction from the supporters actually at the game For the record I thought our fans were brilliant yesterday. No venom directed at the side even when we were four zip down, I loved the ironic oles when we managed to keep hold of the ball for a few passes as well as singing "we're going to win 5-4". Gallows humour at its very best. After being so annoyed by some of our fans reactions to the sale of Carroll earlier this week it reminded me why we're are the best supporters in the land.
  8. You could do a series on Mackem maths
  9. Andy Carroll's 11 goals will be a bigger miss, especially since he probably created half of Nolan's goals as well. IMO Nolan was in a position to offer better advice to Carroll but was obviously more delighted to see him at Liverpool. He takes a fair bit of the blame for the Carroll sale in my book. Fair bit of the blame? Howay man, Carroll is a big lad. He makes his own decisions. I'd imagine any conversation he had with Nolan was done more or less after the deal was well on its way to completion. The club wanted the money and Carroll wanted to go. I'm already sick to death of hearing about Carroll's transfer, I'm sick to death of hearing X slag off Y in the press and I'm also sick of hysterical reactions to almost any perceived slight by some of our fans. It's the type of stuff that makes us look a bit of a joke. Life goes on. However ill advised Nolan's interview was he's one of the few players whose commitment to NUFC hasn't been in any doubt since he joined the club.
  10. His ten goals this season mean I struggle to give a fuck about this.
  11. He lied and said his nan was dead, Ireland, Ireland He's got no hair upon his head, Ireland, Ireland He's absolutley fucking nuts that's why he's gone and signed for us Stephen Ireland, Newcastle's basket case
  12. I fully expect we'll try to spend it using Ashley's own unique method of bartering. MA: "£3 million" Club: "£12 million" MA: "£3 million" Club: "£10 million" MA: "£3 million" Club: "£9.5 million" MA: "£3 million" Club: "£8 million" MA: "£3 million" Club: "You're taking the piss now, Mike" MA: "Fine, we've got Shola anyway."
  13. It could be like when we sold Gazza or it could be like when we sold Cole. Too early to tell.
  14. £1.5 million on Danny Graham £1 million on Jonny Howson £37 million on a gold plated penis extension
  15. Exactly. The circumstances don't even matter. Behave, man. These kind of deals happen. Just look at Spurs and Berbatov. They weren't suddenly swamped with transfer requests from other players.
  16. Don't talk s**** man You really think all of that's going to go on the team? You only have to look at Ashley's track record to this point. isn't his track record that he's put money in to keep the club afloat and for transfers ? He also has a track record of selling our best players.. Milner, Given, N'Zogbia, Carroll... Who's next? Tiote? Enrique? All four wanted to leave Ssh. It doesn't fit the agenda. All were forced out.
  17. He had a 'virus' at City when his form dropped off. Related to that apparently.
  18. No. We've been unbeaten in the league since he's been injured.
