If Livra is to leave as expect, and Trippier, I cant see us signing two right backs, a Schar replacement, a Hall back up. So Burn will 100% stay.

This is big, again its people looking for 24 and under to come in and replace our aging players, when really it would have been worth actually bringing Joachim Anderson in or someone of that mould. Intangibles become so underrated when scouting players.

The Semenyo Haaland style with him and Gordon. Haalands goals have dried up and his chances created has jumped since Pep moved to that formation.

Outside of Bruno I don’t see any leadership qualities in any of those players. I think Brighton who were falling like a stone, picked up pascal gross and have been great ever since and he has been ever present. It just takes one or two, look at Brentford with Henderson, mackems with Xhaka. We should have a diverse strategy, but sometimes players come up who may only last a season or two but with the prize money being what it is pays for itself for a year or two.

I honestly don’t see the logic in them going for Bruno, he’s a great player but his value to us is so much more than it would be with another club. I think Man U would be more interested in Palmer this summer and move Fernandes back to the 8, then look at Anderson too.

We need more transfers like Burn and Trippier. When people look at PSR its always about profit and they dont count in leadership and experience. Just look at Chelsea, tonnes of talent, no leadership.

I did a predictor, and on the last game of the season, we need to beat Fulham who will be miles off it by my calculations, but we also need Everton to beat Spurs to get Europe. Although if Everton win they will relegate Spurs. The scenario is unlikely but I'd honestly be pretty torn.

I think the lack of fodder in the league this season has hurt us too. Last season we took 18 points from the relegated teams and they were easy games where we could coast it, this year its going to be 13-14 and they have been close and a fight.

One thing Howe has had is Bruno being incredible, he’s a player who would elevate any manager. Hes a player who shouldn’t be playing for us really and the type of player who would get snapped up earlier than he did these days.

With this three week break we should have all of our players back. We play Palace who are focused on Europa and will be playing 3 days before. Bournemouth who are below us at home Arsenal away but will have played more games than us will likely be in a cup semi and Europe still. Tough game but we can get at perennial bottlers. Brighton who aren’t special Forest who are turgid West Ham who are going down Fulham who will be on the beach. If it’s the same turgid performances then Howe simply has to go, but the fixtures are there for him to turn this around. 5 wins and a draw will get Europe.

You could say that about most teams. If Chelsea beat us, Sunderland and Everton, Leeds and Brighton they would be pushing for the title.
