Can't believe this and feels just unreal. Always thought he's out of our range especially with Ashley in charge. Feels surreal to wait them back from Africa.
And fair play to Ashley, guess he got little excited after we won Man United and got above Liverpool last weekend and realized it's much more fun to have competitive team than just getting 10th-14th with peanuts spend.

Was looking at Cisses goals on YT when I found a video called 'Demba Ba - Future LFC Player?' with a picture of wor SHOLA.
Hilarious in every possible way.

Very impressive, keep it up!

Raylor with 3 bonus points.

Really hope Swansea stay up. Swansea are always nice to watch unlike at least 10 teams in PL.

We are good with Colo, Saylor and Williamson. Just need someone to cover them.
Edit. And that's why we shouldn't put our few pennies on someone like Samba in my opinion.

We really need that new contract to Guthrie. Started rusty but he was great after Cabaye went off. Santon was good too.
Ameobi is just depressing. Even his running style makes me depressed. In my short life I'm sure I have watched Shola play football enough already.
You'll be wacthing the running style for a lot longer!!! Even if Shola's gone some day there's Sammy to keep the ghost of Ameobi family at SJP:)
Sammy is different, he doesn't drag his feet like Shola does.

Pardew really praising Hatems effort and defending.

Can't say this is a surprise tbh.
I was thinking earlier that this surely can't be possible now, but clearly Pardew is just too stubborn.
-
He just doesn't have any self confidence now. IMO self confidence is one of the biggest things affecting how players do in any sport. It just seems nobody really understands how important it really is.
-
Johnson should have gone for that.
Can't understand why players do that when it's red 98% of time.

Kolarov is rich mans Raylor.

Don't think Simpson is the most naturally talented full back in the PL but his performances this season have been up there with the best of them in my opinion. compared to Ryan Taylor who defensively has been alright in some games but shocking in others, I don't think i've seen simpson put in one bad performance (although i haven't watched every game we have played). He is never going to set the world alight offensively, and he's not as good a defender as Enrique, but he is dependable and consistent and probably about the level we are currently performing to. He may not as attractive as players like Colo and Santon, but i think we have right back covered for the time being (was extremely impressed with the Simpson - Taylor right wing against man u (i think)).
He can do alright defensively but he's shocking going forward. Ideal situation would be to sign LB and move Santon to right. Then keep Simpson and Raylor as cover with Tavernier developing. I just think that Danny has quite high opinion of himself and wouldn't accept it and that's why I wouldn't bother if he leaves and Tavernier keeps developing. But everything comes down to us signing a good LB and that's more than questionable.

So limited with the ball that he's never going to be good RB for top 8-team.
People will no doubt mention Griffin, Titus, Hughes, OB1 were good enough to see us to a CL spot under SBR, but you do feel the landscape of Premier League football has changed.
Probably not a player befitting of a top eight team, but wouldn't say he's enough to single-handedly stop a top-eight finish! Still pretty young and good to have about the squad atm.
That's what I meant, I don't believe no one thinks he's an asset for us and being important for us to get top-eight. Good squad player but if we take a look on our starting eleven, he's the first name along with Obertan that we should be able to strengthen. The best ability that good PL rightback has shouldn't be goalline clearances.

Quoted yesterday by Canal+ saying he wants to stay and fight for his place.
Erdinç, what a fool
No starts and 12 sub appearances in the league.
Looks like he'll be wasting his career if he stays at PSG. The lad needs a move if he want to progress. Like someone has said, it's looking like he's the French-Turkish equivalent of Alan Smith
What a fool? Really?
Have you seen any French football this season?
During his last two seasons he has started 59 games in the league for PSG... this season they bought Kevin Gameiro and he has started ALL games in the league. He's one of their key players in a 4-2-3-1 formation. Erdinç is the second choice striker at the club. If Gameiro gets injured Erdinç will start upfront.
PSG are building something big over there and he wants to be a part of it and fight for a place in the team. Isn't that the sort of players you want in your team? Yes.
If PSG signs Kaka... Pato or Ba in the summer he will probably move on.
He has the chance to stay at PSG to the end of the season and will probably win the league with the club and people are calling him a fool...
He's also a fan of his club.
I see your point, but I'm pretty sure that after next summer there's going to be at least two new players ahead of him in the pecking order no matter how well he does. I just feel like he's not big enough name for PSG anymore.
Think about Shaun Goater or Paul Dickov playing for City and saying they'll fight for their place. /extremely tongue-in-cheek

Without seeing the other coverage, how can they not show a replay? Would take like 15 seconds.
Also, not enough love for Jonas goal and mask.
-
Edwamack is legend. Stunning goal, can't believe some were feeling disappointed.
-
Absolutely ridiculous in this day and age that we're waiting around at nearly 11pm for a replay to be broadcast on tv of a goal scored in a match between two top tier teams hours ago.
Never would have happened here.
Not even trying to be a dick this time. It's just amazing that a major competition is treated this way.
You are so much ahead broadcasting sports that it is quite ridiculous.

I thought he was a consistent top performer in every game he played during that spell, it wasn't like he just had one good game.
Absolutely, if he's fit I'm not so bothered about Tiote leaving. Demba on the other hand...

Moussa Sow is apparently Fenerbahçe bound for €12m
Pointless, move there when you're 31.

I'm really sad about this. Always been my favorite non-NUFC player in PL and seems like a nice guy with all those charities. There's so many memories watching him play thinking he's totally unplayable.
