£10 FB on Dele Alli to score 2nd goal - 110/1.
-
I think Son might let me down...
-
Two down.... 4 to go.
-
I got £10 for it. Not sure what to go on yet. In the meantime, I couldn't help but place a £1 on their BetBuilder thing. I choose this: To score at any time: Kane, Dybala and Son. To be booked: Benatia, Pjanic and Son. at 1000/1.

You're comparing Rafa and Fergie even though they couldn't be any more different from each other? That includes anything from football philosophy, to transfer budget to control of the club. Doesn’t make any difference when you are circling the bowl what your philosophy is. You use every resource available to you and you certainly don’t get rid of options now, you wait until the summer. While I’m not saying Mitrovic could save us, Are you happy that we could be relegated on Rafa’s point of principle? It's no different than when Fergie got rid of the likes of Beckham, Stam, etc when they were fighting for trophies.

Rafa, the coaches, Joselus teammates and some supporters. If Shelvey see that Mitrovic is being picked ahead of Joselu when Joselu out performs him in training, maybe he too will put in less effort because he knows he will get picked anyway. Lascelles see that Shelvey and Mitro are picked ahead of Joselu and Merino/Hayden and puts in less effort etc etc. Joselu gets angry that he is not picked and stops making any effort because why should he if he isn't getting picked anyway. Poor training results in poor match performances and we go down. One of the few advantages we have this season is fighting attitude and team spirit. I don't see why Rafa would risk spoiling that in order to accommodate one player. I wonder how much it helped team morale to see a striker picked every week that never seemed to trouble a keeper. I would assume it was a feeling of collective responsibility that nobody did good enough rather than players pointing at individuals. I’m inclined to think that team morale with an extra six points in the bag would be a tad higher than it is now. I am willing to bet when a player looks at their pay packet at the end of the season if we go down they may not take the simplistic view that you have. I’ve never heard the likes of Alex Ferguson say Give me the player who runs around in training but can’t hit a barn door on Saturday afternoon because its good for morale. FFS. Vastly different context.

Is that where Sanchez Watt is playing these days....?
-
He was probably unable to put a good shift in as he was trembling at the sight of Ronaldo.
-
Shame the fucker wasn't firing them this consistently when he played.
-
Don’t know, why you don’t ask the people in the best pundit/journalist thread..? You could also ask them why Gary Lineker once asked Pardew, sincerely it looked, if he felt unlucky for not being considered for the ‘top jobs’.
-
Might as well do the same to Man City, Bayern and PSG. (Albeit it 'bought' in a different way.)
-
Well, apart from Zaha, I don't think they're that good. Loftus-Cheek is still relatively unproven at this level too.
-
They definitely shouldn't, the squad is decent. And everyone knows, especially in a league like this where pretty much everyone can beat pretty much everyone, uncertain events can occur. The team that went down in 2009 was 'too good to go down'.
-
Weeey, I knew this would happen. The point was that they weren't 'definitely gone' as a few people insisted, not that they weren't going down. Pretty sure you made post declaring them safe.
-
I thought Palace are not going down? They're certainly not staying up as easily as some people thought.
-
Jermaine Jenas is shit pundit.
-
Great centre forward play and finish by Dybala.
-
We didn't. And there was no way he would have and should have left SMB for England, man.

SunBets sent me an e-mail offering me £10 free chips on Roulette if I fill in a survey. (That took less than a minute.) Stuck it randomly on a whim on 16...... made £350 profit! I'm still £250 down, but cutting my losses from £600ish to £200ish, during a time where I'm taking a break from betting, is quite good!

well done.

PEA is the sort of player that should fuck off to China.

It was good chance, he should have hammered it in. He powered it low and hard towards the bottom corner, it definitely wasn't a bad miss that he should have scored No, it wasn't that well struck. And I certainly didn't label it as a bad miss. I assumed that if you state that he should have scored then that means it would be something close to being a bad miss. I don't think he did much wrong with his shot Not necessarily. I just think he should have, at the least, hit it with more power as I think this would have been enough to beat the keeper. This doesn't mean it's a bad miss. Just the wrong choice of execution technique.
