From what i heard last night Pardew's issues with him have nothing to do with on the pitch in games. What did you hear last night exactly? That its his lazy attitude and determination to do the bare minimum in training that infuriates Pardew and some of the other players. Pardew actually massively rates him on the pitch. Seems the 'workrate' issues arent tracking back but in actually proving he wants to play each day. Cue pointless reply bleating over Raylor/Obertan from someone. revelations...

To be honest, the players deserve the criticism today much, much more than Pardew does. We took a 2-0 lead and then we went to sleep..... they came back into it...we're still a sleep.... they pull one back....we're still asleep..... then finally when they equalise, the players bother to show the extra effort and try, cluelessly, to win it all over again. Pardew's selection at the start actually helped win us the game, the rest... was lost by the players' complacency, imo.
