  1. Sounds like a cracking atmosphere at Citeh v the mackems.
  2. Yup - we were in the 2nd division at the time - the summer after we 'just' avoided relegation with KK in 91/92.
  3. Not good. I wish him a speedy and successful recovery.

I'm sure the Tyne Tees sports news bloke is a mackem. Might explain it.

Bit of boastng/bragging about going on about attacking Everton fans in the home end. One bloke even walked 30 yards to 'nut' one fella. Really are a pitiful bunch. http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=686831&page=3

Anyone got the pic of O'Neill on the swing?

Jelivic had them all over tonight - good movement, technique and should have probs finished with a hattrick.

How many shots did the mackems have tonight and did Howard actually make a save? Bemuses me how they have managed to pick up so many points since O'Neill took over, because their 'style' of play is gash.

Pity their forum is such a mess.
  10. Mackems. Wembley dreams in tatters - such a poor side. And only 36000 of them there tonight? Poor show!
  11. Everton by far the better side. Long way to go, though - can see the tramps getting a spawny equalizer.

Some mackems coming on TS and complaining about Barton making the '5-1' signs at the match, on Sat. Some even want him reporting to the FA.
  13. Is this on iPlayer? Bedlington is my home town - centre of the universe!
  14. Charvas amongst the away support are nout new, sadly. Up to others to 'self police', IMO.

I'd guess Frieberg (sp?) wanted to do business asap as aren't they looking like being relegated from the Bundasliga?

I wouldn't go that far, but 5 in 6 since he joined, you can't argue with. Cole would have needed 3-4 times as many chances to get that many goals. Disagree. As someone who saw Cole first hand during 92/93 and 93/94 he was a world class finisher. Cisse has made a great start, but it's too early to judge how he will be. Got to be consistent over a few seasons, which to be fair he was in Germany.

So refreshing to see some proper pass and move today, particularly in the first half. The ability in the side is there.

He has the look of a real predator and that has been something we have lacked since Shearer retired. He can and will only get better.
