Ben Arfa was simply magnificent and totally unplayable - looks like the lad is getting back to what he can do, so his run in the side of recent has been justified. Real worry about the injury to Colo - Pardew has said it 'could be 2-3 games'. I don't fancy going into the Liverpool game next Sunday with Williamson and Perch at DC. Onwards and upwards though - fancy being level with Chelsea after 30 games, and also 8 ahead of Liverpool.

Well, we got the win but what another rotten performance. This team seem to have been regressing since we beat Man United just after new year and that concerns me. Again, too many long balls and a lack of cohesion and good passing/ball retention in midfield. Where the hell is this pacier, more dynamic side that Pardew promised us last season? Our gameplan seems at the moment to be stop the opposition playing and then that's it. No intent to try and push on and to win games convincingly. Worried!
